Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 23rd September 2023 episode starts with Rishi telling Lakshmi that she does not need to care about anyone else and both of them should not lie to each other anymore.

Rishi tells Lakshmi that he wants to marry her only as his heart belongs to her which makes Malishka scream in frustration.

Malishka comes in between Rishi and Lakshmi and asks Rishi what nonsense he is spouting about love and marriage while they are about to get married.

As Malishka denies that Rishi has any romantic feelings for Lakshmi, Rishi says that he knows what is there in his heart and says that he loves Lakshmi ardently.

Malishka seems to go crazy on hearing Rishi's reply and asks him what about her who has been dreaming of marrying him for so many years.

Insulting Lakshmi's character and beauty, Malishka says that she does not stand a chance against her but Rishi asks Malishka not to insult Lakshmi like that as she is very important to him.

Malishka fumes in anger on hearing Rishi and starts throwing the things on the mandap and shouts that Rishi only belongs to her and no one else can snatch him away.

Everyone gets shocked to see Malishka's maniac form and tries to stop her but Malishka seems uncontrollable as she pushes away the pillars of the mandap and runs upstairs.

Abhay warns Lakshmi that he will not spare her if anything happens to Malishka after which Sonal, Kiran, Abhay, Rishi, and Lakshmi run upstairs but find the door of Malishka's room locked.

Kiran asks Malishka to open the door while Abhay checks the windows when Lakshmi runs away to bring something as she remembers about it.

Abhay blames Rishi for acting so spontaneously and not thinking about Malishka once as he proposed to Lakshmi in the middle of his wedding with Malishka.

Lakshmi brings the keys to the room and does not find the right after which Kiran snatches away the bunch of keys and says that Lakshmi is intentionally delaying so that something happens to Malishka.

They enter the room and find Malishka breaking a glass bottle to stab herself but Sonal and Abhay stop her and she gets slapped by Abhay which finally calms her.

Abhay hugs his daughter while she screams and cries for Rishi when Kiran comes to Neelam and asks her why her daughter must suffer in such a manner due to Rishi.

Karishma asks Rishi and Lakshmi to leave the room which they follow and they come downstairs where Virendra and Dadi ask if Malishka is fine.

Lakshmi says that she is leaving the house and asks Rishi to stop his continuous pleadings as she will not marry him as it is not in her fate.

Dadi requests Lakshmi to accept Rishi's love as he has finally announced his feelings in front of the world but Lakshmi proceeds tp leave and stops as Rishi gives her kasam.

Rishi asks Lakshmi why she had stopped and says that Lakshmi's care for him is her love and she knows that she loves him more than he does.

Virendra and Dadi tell Lakshmi that people can have different opinions about her but she will change them with love to which Lakshmi says that it would have already become reality if that was the case.

Neelam comes and slaps Rishi after which she insults Lakshmi for planning such a big game to destroy everyone's happiness.

Neelam says that she will never allow Lakshmi to become Rishi's wife and will separate their intertwined fates if needed.
