Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 24th March 2023 episode starts with Malishka asking if the groom will like Lakshmi as his wife to which the matchmaker gives a positive reply.

She says that Lakshmi is perfect to be his wife and she will also like him.

Malishka says that it is in Lakshmi's nature to cancel her marriage as last time she patched up and prevented a couple from divorce.

The matchmaker says that this makes Lakshmi more perfect as just like Lakshmi, the groom also values the concept of marriage.

Harleen says that Lakshmi is like a daughter just like Malishka is, they want the best for Lakshmi too.

The matchmaker promises that Lakshmi's marriage is going to happen very soon.

Ayush only comments to Karishma that he cannot tolerate them, making Lakshmi's marriage happen in a hurry.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi upset with her decision stands alone by the window as Ayush comes to her.

He calls her 'Bhabi' (sister-in-law) intentionally because he says that he loves her and respects her.

Lakshmi at first scolds him but then says that she is lucky to have him as a brother but reveals she can't marry Rishi because Rishi and Malishka love each other.

Ayush clarifies that it is all a lie as nothing happened between them that night but Lakshmi wants to believe her eyes.

Ayush says that Lakshmi should first think of herself and then goes to Rishi's room, asking him to have drinks with him even if he is happy or sad.

Rishi says that he is happy because he is getting married to Malishka but Ayush knows the truth.

He asks Rishi to see himself in the mirror as he says that Rishi is not happy from within, urging him to close his eyes.

As soon as Rishi closes his eyes, he sees flashbacks of him and Lakshmi spending time together.

Ayush then makes Rishi watch an old video of him and Lakshmi doing prayers together and states this is what real happiness is called as Rishi takes Lakshmi's name.

Ayush says that he knows Rishi loves Lakshmi but just then, Lakshmi enters the room while Ayush tells both of them that they should accept each other's love.

Lakshmi goes away from the room because she forgets the reason she had come.

Meanwhile, Harleen is very tense as Virendra says that he has also heard the news from Neelam.

Virendra points out that they can do nothing but wait as Harleen is suspicious of what Rishi wanted to confess before Lakshmi draged him upstairs.

Downstairs, Malishka angrily tells Karishma that she has never seen a house where they give more importance to another woman and not to the would-be bride.

Kiran and Karishma both calm her down as they ask her to wait just for a few days and Malishka then goes upstairs to Lakshmi's room and tells her that she is finally marrying Rishi.

She asks what Lakshmi did to other members because they support her so much while Lakshmi says that the reason is love and asks Malishka to love others first.

Malishka goes to Rishi's room and finds Ayush continuously telling him that Rishi loves Lakshmi and not Malishka.

She angrily asks Ayush to leave as he says that love cannot be forced but Rishi intervenes, stating he loves Malishka and she knows that and should not listen to others.
