Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 26th May 2023 episode starts with Lakshmi telling Rishi that she indeed talks like sixties heroines and that Rishi is modern compared to her.

She explains how Rishi has always made her believe that he would never cross his limits yet today he has hurt her.

Looking at Lakshmi’s teary face, Rishi feels guilty for doing this so he starts laughing like a mad person, saying he was pranking her.

Rishi teases Lakshmi for taking his words seriously but Lakshmi walks away from there with a fallen face.

On the other hand, Malishka is walking in the mall, muttering that Rishi must have a magic wand by using which he has become vanished when Vikrant climbs down the stairs.

Vikrant informs Malishka that he has definitely found a magic wand so Malishka should follow him to know if Rishi is with Lakshmi or if he is alone.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi returns to the same jewelry section from where she got the mangal sutra and as she sits on the stool, her mind goes back to Rishi’s confession.

Lakshmi whispers that Rishi is getting married to Malishka yet he is confessing his feelings to her.

At the same time, Rishi comes running into the same section, begging Lakshmi to forgive him for joking.

He kneels down in front of Lakshmi, saying that he knows Lakshmi likes talking to him and he hates to see her upset.

Grabbing Lakshmi’s hands, he offers her to punch him in the face while Lakshmi just looks at him confused.

Rishi informs Lakshmi that if she does not talk to him, he will die causing Lakshmi instantly put her hand over his face.

She scolds him for saying stupid things and Rishi stands up, offering Lakshmi to come with him.

Lakshmi stops Rishi from going, reminding him that they need to get rid of the mangal-sutra and Rishi offers to help her since the sales girls are not around.

He then stands beside Lakshmi to unhook the mangal sutra while Lakshmi stands there with a tight face.

Their reflection falls on the mirror and Lakshmi just looks at them in the mirror with her heart jumping in her throat.

Malishka and Vikrant request the jewelry shop owner to let them see the CCTV footage.

The jewelry shop owner refuses to let Vikrant see the CCTV footage but Vikrant lies that they want to see the whole shop since it will help them to shop better.

Hearing this, the shop owner finally agrees to let Vikrant and Malishka see the CCTV footage.

As Vikrant goes to look through the CCTV footage, Malishka gets a call from Karishma who asks Malishka if Rishi is with her.

Malishka once again lies that Rishi is with her assuming that she does not understand why Karishma is so worried about Rishi.

Once the call gets cut, she walks back to Vikrant, assuming now she will learn where RishiMi has gone.

Meanwhile, Sonal asks Ayush and Shalu if they have seen Lakshmi anywhere and Ayush replies that Lakshmi must be around the store only.

On the other hand, Lakshmi's breath hitches slightly as she looks at her and Rishi's reflection in the mirror and Rishi stops unhooking the mangal sutra to admire Lakshmi.

Lakshmi spreads her hands to check during which she accidentally smacks Rishi on his left cheek so Rishi forwards his right cheek also to get slapped.

She explains that it was a mistake while dragging Rishi away from the mirror since she thinks Rishi is staring at her only.

When Lakshmi stops, Rishi stands behind her to unhook the mangalsutra again.
