Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 26th September 2023 episode starts with Virendra and Dadi telling Malishka and her family that it would have been worse if Rishi had left to be with Lakshmi after marrying Malishka.

Kiran says that Malishka would have stopped Rishi as she is claiming but Dadi asks why Malishka failed to stop him earlier which silences everyone.

Neelam asks everyone to stop arguing about the matter as everyone is thinking about Lakshmi and no one is caring about Rishi as he has left his family to be with that girl.

Neelam says that Rishi cannot stay without her but he dared to leave her like that and did not think once about what would happen to his mother without him in the house.

Dadi asks Neelam to calm down as Rishi will understand her feelings and return soon as he cannot stay away from his mother for too long but Neelam does not seem convinced by those statements.

Meanwhile, Rishi thinks about the moments he has spent with Neelam in the past with Lakshmi sitting by his side silently in a park with children playing around.

Neelam comes to her room and takes out a box where she finds Rishi's childhood things and toys that she has kept preserved through all those years.

Opening the photo album, Neelam cries upon seeing the pictures of Rishi from his childhood and stares at the toys that she went and bought for her son.

Elsewhere, two boys try to make a house of clay but break it after which Rishi comes to them and helps them in making it again.

The boys get happy as the house gets reconstructed while Lakshmi stares at Rishi with loving eyes and remembers the moment when he stood by her side against his own family.

Rishi gets thanked by the children and their parents after which he comes to Lakshmi and tells her how Neelam used to make him such houses which gave him extreme joy.

Lakshmi tells Rishi that Neelam must be devastated to lose him as she has given birth to him which is why he should return to his home but Rishi refuses.

Rishi says that his mother is not being able to understand him anymore and that he is happy with Lakshmi in his life which is why he cannot go back.

Rishi tells Lakshmi that he has decided to be with her as he cannot live his life without her anymore but Lakshmi says that Neelam does not think the same way.

Lakshmi says that she also thinks that Rishi will stay happier with Malishka as he will have his family which is why they should separate but Rishi tells Lakshmi that he will be the same as dead without her.

Meanwhile, Karishma tries to persuade Neelam to stop grieving for Rishi and drowning herself in the past when Virendra and Dadi also come there.

Dadi tells Neelam that everything will turn out right but Neelam says that they should not expect her to bring Lakshmi back to this house even though Rishi has demanded it.

Neelam says that she cannot lead Rishi to his destruction and blames Lakshmi for deliberately planning everything and snatching Rishi away from her.

At the same time, Rishi and Lakshmi wonder where they should go and Rishi decides to call a broker friend of his to arrange a house for them.

Elsewhere, Malishka breaks things in anger and says that she will not give her life but rather take Lakshmi's life to bring Rishi back to her.

Malishka shocks her parents as she screams that Lakshmi has to die now and Rishi will belong to her very soon.
