Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 27th August 2023 episode starts with Rishi retrieving away from the hug as he hears that Lakshmi has not returned to live with him.

Rishi asks Lakshmi what she means by that statement to which Lakshmi responds that she has come to Rishi's house to let him know that she will not come back to him and he should move on.

Hearing this Rishi says he does not believe anything Lakshmi said and he cannot live without her as he loves Lakshmi with his whole heart.

Lakshmi says that Rishi's life will not crumble if she does not stay with him to which Rishi aggressively replies that his life revolves around her now.

Rishi shows Lakshmi how he has arranged the room according to Lakshmi's wishes while Lakshmi suppresses her emotions, not letting Rishi trigger it.

Rishi admits that he has hurt Lakshmi a lot in the past but now he has fallen in love with her and cannot think of living away from her for a bit.

Lakshmi reminds Rishi that she is not a part of his life anymore and he should move on in his life sooner or later, giving a special position in his heart to someone else.

Rishi looks heartbroken hearing Lakshmi's words and says that he will do as she wants but he wants to hear for himself about how Lakshmi feels about him.

Lakshmi looks emotional as Rishi asks her to tell him how she feels about him just like he confessed his feelings to her which will give him the will to live for the rest of his life.

Meanwhile, Harleen sits in her room and says that she feels sad hearing that Lakshmi will not come back to the house anymore when Ayush and Virendra join her.

Virendra says that they should plan something to ensure that Lakshmi does not leave the house to which Ayush agrees and says that he never thought that Lakshmi would return to say her final goodbye like that.

Elsewhere, Malishka continues to blabber about how Lakshmi is not coming back from Rishi's room when she should return in 2 minutes and how Lakshmi must have clung to Rishi by now.

Malishka says that there is no other way for her than to give up her life when Neelam asks her to shut up and not be pessimistic like that.

Karishma asks Malishka to go to Rishi's room and bring Lakshmi back but Malishka says that Harleen asked her to leave them alone for a bit.

Neelam says that they will handle Harleen when Malishka instantly goes upstairs to check on Rishi and Lakshmi.

At the same time, Rishi tells Lakshmi that he wants to hear "I love you" from her once, after which he will marry Malishka and live his life with Lakshmi's love.

Lakshmi hesitates at first and tells Rishi that his nature makes everyone fall in love with him but Rishi asks her to be more specific.

As Lakshmi is about to confess her love to Rishi, Malishka comes there and says that Lakshmi has dropped the sweets and must get ready to leave.

Malishka talks about how Lakshmi wishes for her and Rishi to be happy after their marriage and holds onto Rishi's arm intentionally.

Lakshmi walks out of the room as Malishka shows her the way outside while Rishi regrets not hearing the desired words from Lakshmi.

Shalu calls Ayush to know about the situation while Neelam asks Harleen to stop bringing Lakshmi as she is a bad omen.

Lakshmi comes downstairs and prepares to leave after taking Harleen and Virendra's blessings but Neelam stands in front of her, blocking the way.
