Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 28th August 2023 episode starts with Neelam thanking Lakshmi for the very first time for bringing sweets for Rishi’s marriage while Lakshmi is leaving the house.

Just then, Virendra stops Lakshmi from leaving following which Harleen rushes to him and they both tell Lakshmi about their desire.

Harleen informs her that they want Lakshmi to take full responsibility for Rishi and Malishka’s wedding, shocking everyone including Lakshmi.

Virendrapraises Lakshmi’s skill of managing everything beautifully and effortlessly while Lakshmi looks confused about their sudden request.

Neelam tells Harleen that they’ll hire the professional and that they don’t need Lakshmi around them for anything when Harleen reveals that only Lakshmi can give a personal touch to this marriage.

Meanwhile, Harleen and Virendraask Lakshmi stay at the Oberoi mansion until Rishi and Makishka’s wedding as she’ll have to manage everything.

However, Lakshmi shows her gratitude towards Harleen and Virendra but refuses the advances since she’s already employed while Virendraasks Lakshmi for the contact number of her boss,

Malishka realises how crazy Virendra and Harleen are for Lakshmi and wonders if no one in this house really cares about her.

Just then, Ayush starts showing his marketing skills just to persuade everyone to this idea when Neelam asks him to stop and show his marketing skills in the office.

Ayush asks Rishi if he has any issue regarding this and Rishi gets over-excited stating that they can never get a better organiser than Lakshmi.

He mentions that Lakshmi comprehends their choice in the best possible way and is the best fit for this role, making Harleen smile at him.

Ayush says that Malishka must have already agreed since she only wants Rishi’s happiness and his happiness lies in Lkahsmi organising their wedding.

Ayush builds pressure on her and commands her to agree with Harleen and Rishi warning her of the consequences while Malishka thinks about the consequences from both sides i.e. Neelam and Rishi.

She finds herself hanging on a bridge and tries to play safe by saying that her opinions don’t matter anyway and tells Ayush to let Harleen and Virendradecide about this topic.

Malishka reluctantly says that she’ll support every decision taken by Rishi since she loves her so much and curses Ayush in her mind for being so smart.

On the other hand, Harleen asks Lakshmi’s answer and before Lakshmi replies, Harleen already warns her about the consequences of refusing her since Lakshmi is her daughter.

After numerous emotional blackmails and excuses, Harleen finally convinces Lakshmi to organise Rishi and Malishka’s wedding, taking full responsibility for the preparations.

Virendra and Harleen even convince Lakshmi to stay at the Oberoi house until Rishi gets married to Maliska but Lakshmi tells them that she has to work today and from tomorrow she’ll stay at their place.

Later, when Lakshmi leaves, Karishma lashes out at Virendrafor inviting Lakshmi into the house again and saying that now she’ll create more problems in the family.

That’s when Harleen mocks Karishma for believing that Lakshmi creates trouble in their family and defends Lakshmi by praising her problem-solving skills.

However, Neelam voices her opposition to Harleen and tells her that she’s only focusing on Lakshmi for resolving the problems and neglecting the fact that she’s the one who creates the problem.

Harleen yells at Karishma for accusing Lakshmi wrongly and reveals that Lakshmi only cares about other people and that’s why she was ready to marry Vikrant when everyone gets shocked.

Rishi and Virendra question Harleen about what she means to say when Harleen discloses that Lakshmi was only marrying Vikrant for Rishi’s happiness and was not marrying him willingly.

Rishi gets emotional learning this and appreciates Lakshmi’s selfless actions for his family, realising how much Lakshmi cares for others.
