Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 28th September 2023 episode starts with Aayush pacing his room thinking that this is not good.

He wonders where Lakshmi and Rishi would be and decides to call Shalu thinking that they might be there.

Shalu scolds Aayush

Meanwhile, Shalu and Bani wonder why Rishi and Lakshmi would refuse to give them the address of where they are.

On the other hand, Rishi thanks the aunty while she informs them that she bought it from her relatives but has not gotten it repaired.

Shalu picks up Aayush's call and starts scolding him for not calling, saying that he should have asked about Rishi and Lakshmi's whereabouts.

He calms her, asking her what she means by Rishi and Lakshmi not being there when she informs him that they are staying somewhere else but they refuse to give their address as they know the trio would come there.

She apologizes to Aayush for venting her anger on him while he thanks her for considering him close enough to vent her anger on. 

Meanwhile, Rishi praises Lakshmi, saying that she is Lakshmi for him in reality as she is always there when he is in trouble and saves him.

Bani asks Aayush about Neelam and he talks about how she is angry but will calm down soon.

Aayush tells them to hold out till the morning as they will go and check up on the new couple then.

He sweetly says bye to Shalu and disconnects the call while Bani teases Shalu.

Lakshmi asks Rishi why he lied leading him to state that Virender would have worried about them if he had not lied.

At the Oberoi house, Virender comes to Neelam, informing her that Rishi and Lakshmi have found a house while she walks out of the room.

He asks her where she is going when Neelam tells him that he has lost the right to ask her since he supported Lakshmi over his wife.

Rishi and Lakshmi clean the house

Back at the old house, Rishi continues sneezing due to the dust as he cleans while Lakshmi tells him to go and sit in the corner.

As a payback, he goes behind her and ties her hair, telling her that she will not have difficulty cleaning then.

He watches her clean the house as he thinks that she loves him so much that she's doing all this for him and still refuses to accept it.

Just as a pipe is about to fall on her, he saves her and continues looking into her eyes. 

At Malishka's house, her parents ask Sonia how she is and she states that she is not good but is sleeping now.

Kiran talks about how Malishka would have become the daughter-in-law of the Oberoi house but everything changes.

Neelam comes there just then and announces that Malishka will be the daughter-in-law just like she has been considering her in the past as Neelam has never learned to lose.

Elsewhere, Lakshmi tells Rishi to put away the bucket while he jokingly states that he is an Oberoi and would not do such a thing.

Lakshmi wonders how to let Rishi sleep on the floor as he wouldn't be able to do so.

Neelam's promise to Malishka

Neelam apologizes to Kiran and Abhay while they tell her that they will accept all the humiliation if she can keep her promise of getting Malishka married to Rishi.

Neelam boldly states that in her eyes, Malishka is the only ideal daughter-in-law for her son and tells them that she will take Malishka home with her.

She states that Rishi and Lakshmi can hide anywhere but cannot get married while Kiran thanks her for always supporting them. 

Lakshmi and Rishi gaze out the window onto the night sky while she reveals that she is scared of mosquitoes. 

Neelam on the other hand consoles Malishka and tells her that she should not be weak as they cannot let Lakshmi win and convinces her to return to the Oberoi mansion.

Rishi thanks God for giving him the courage to confess to Lakshmi while she comes there with a torn piece of cloth and tells him to tie it to the window.

He climbs to the window and teases her while she tells him to speak clearly while he asks her again if she loves him or not.
