Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 29th January 2023 episode starts with Rishi standing up while scratching his body like a mad person.

Kamli is about to ask Rishi what is wrong but keeps her mouth closed as she knows Balwinder will recognize her from the tone.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi firmly states that she has promised Kamli that she will make her marriage happen with Balwinder whereas Rishi keeps scratching without uttering any words.

Rano asks Rishi if anything is wrong thinking it is Balwinder and the pandit mentions that maybe an insect must be inside Balwinder’s sherwani.

Rishi runs away from there without answering anyone while everyone looks confused.

On the other hand, Lakshmi orders Shalu and Bani to walk away.

Lakshmi mutters angrily that Rishi is betraying her and Malishka both since he is here to ruin her marriage again.

Meanwhile, Virendra and Harleen are overjoyed as Lakshmi’s marriage is delayed again whereas Malishka gets suspicious and begs the God to support her today.

In the meantime, while Rishi is pacing in the changing room worried about Lakshmi, Lakshmi arrives there and scolds Rishi for coming here.

When Rishi announces that he cannot let Lakshmi marry Balwinder, Lakshmi reveals that she was marrying Kamli to Balwinder which shuts Rishi up.

On the other hand, Ayush distracts Guddu and his friends by fake calling Rishi and pretending as if Rishi is standing outside the wedding venue.

Ayush watches as Guddu and his friends run out of the hall to beat Rishi and he gets happy thinking this time Lakshmi is the mastermind.

Meanwhile, in the room, Lakshmi blames Rishi for ruining Kamli and Balwinder’s wedding resulting in Lakshmi and his bickering.

When Lakshmi orders Rishi to change his clothes, Rishi starts unbuttoning his sherwani making Lakshmi blush.

Lakshmi turns around feeling embarrassed and Rishi walks away to change properly.

On the other hand, in the wedding hall, Neelam compares Lakshmi’s wedding with TV serials as it is going on for so long and Malishka also adds that Lakshmi herself is not ready for the marriage.

When Virendra asks Malishka what is wrong if Lakshmi does not want to get married in a serious tone, Malishka gets silent.

Looking at Kamli, Malishka walks toward her to confirm if it is Lakshmi or not while Shalu and Bani are busy calming a worried Kamli down by using encouraging words.

Malishka then orders Kamli to lift her veil so she can talk to her and Shalu announces they should not lift Lakshmi’s veil as the marriage will be canceled since the pandit has forbidden Lakshmi from lifting her veil.

Ayush again yells that someone is fighting outside the wedding hall while looking out of the gate and Malishka runs to check if it is Rishi or not.

Later, while Lakshmi tells Rishi that only Ayush can wake Balwinder up now, Ayush arrives there.

Lakshmi and Rishi watch from a distance as Ayush hits Balwinder in his neck making Balwinder open his eyes.

Balwinder is about to punch Ayush when Ayush mentions that for the next six months, there is no auspicious moment for marriage and Balwinder will be left behind as Rishi will change Lakshmi’s mind.

Afterward, Balwinder walks out of the room after putting his veil on and RishiMi are lost in each other’s eyes.

Later, Balwinder starts doing the marriage rituals and he finds Bani and Shalu sitting beside Lakshmi while Neelam rolls her eyes.
