Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 31st August 2022 episode starts with Aayush calling Shalu to tell her the news that Rishi has arrived in Mumbai and has gone to save Lakshmi.

Shalu overwhelms in joy and hugs Aayush but Aayush shows this fascination as a hug of love.

However, Shalu tries to explain that this is a hug of friendship and a hug of love is different.

Aayush asks her to elucidate her terms with the experience and Shalu hugs her as a hug of friendship but suddenly feels butterflies in her stomach and pushes him away.

She hurriedly tells him that they should go and visit Lakshmi.

Meanwhile, a notorious Rishi is adamant to meet Lakshmi again so he creates a scene in the police station but gets to Lakshmi somehow.

He gives Lakshmi his ring as a promise to return and rescue her.

Soon the police find him and begin kicking him out of the police station which makes the drama end up hilariously as Rishi stubbornly keeps talking to Lakshmi.

In the Oberoi mansion, Virendra gets to know from Mayank that all the patient’s health is under control and thanks god for it.

Meanwhile, Malishka curses Lakshmi for ruining all of her plans to achieve Rishi and his love.

Suddenly Kiran comes in and tells her about the promise by Neelam that she will be the Daughter-in-law of Oberoi Mansion.

During all this, Aayush and Shalu are in the car but Shalu keeps thinking of the butterflies she got earlier when she hugged Aayush.

Suddenly Aayush begins humming romantic songs and to get this new feeling out of her mind Shalu switches on the radio only to find romantic tracks at all stations.

Shalu and Aayush bicker like kids on the songs being played and fed up with this Shalu makes the car stop and gets out.

Aayush comes over to dwindle with her like children but a constable intervenes in their conversation.

The police ask if Aayush is harassing Shalu and Shalu nods and the police pull Aayush to take him to jail.

On knowing this Shalu tells the constable that if Aayush says sorry it will be fine for her.

Therefore, Aayush is made to say sorry by heart in front of Shalu.

This makes Aayush annoyed and he speeds up the car. As soon as he switches the radio on he hears Hanuman Chalisa and immediately melts and apologizes to Shalu which she reciprocates.

As they get to the police station they see the police carrying Rishi out of the station.

On being interrogated by Shalu and Aayush, Rishi says that he has met Lakshmi and promises Shalu that he will get her bail no matter what, this convinces Shalu that her sister will finally be out.
