Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 31st August 2023 episode starts with an air of sadness blowing in the Oberoi mansion since everyone is already feeling depressed about the next day.

There’s a pin-drop silence in Neelam and Vrendra’s room while Harleen is reminiscing about Neelam’s word about leaving the house as soon as Lakshmi enters.

Rishi, gazes at the moon in the night, pondering if it will ascend like the sun or descend.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi, also captivated by the moon, proclaims that the moon and the sun rise and set for one another.

They both find themselves in the midst of a daunting ordeal because when Lakshmi wanted to stay at Oberoi house, she couldn’t but now fate has brought her there as per Rishi’s desire.

The next morning, Bani and Shalu pray to god for Lakshmi’s well-being and ask god to reunite Lakshmi’s and Rishi’s destiny.

At Oberoi's house, Neelam rebukes Virendra and expresses how concerned she is since it’s a great and the worst day simultaneously.

It’s great because Rishi is getting engaged to Malishka today but it’s worst since Neelam doesn’t know if she’ll be able to attend his engagement or not as it depends on Lakshmi’s arrival.

Elsewhere, Malishka rushes to Rishi to share her joy as it’s the happiest day of her life.

Rishi misunderstands her and thinks that Neelam is not leaving the house anymore when he says that Lakshmi can stay here too.

Malishka gets confused and clears the air when Rishi yells at her for not even convincing Neelam and dancing happily in the house.

However, Malishka struggles with the answer as neither she can’t talk about Lakshmi or he’ll get mad nor she can convince Neelam.

Meanwhile, Malishka yells back at him and reveals that she supported his decision of making Lakshmi stay just to make him happy and now he’s blaming her for all this.

She even mentions that everything’s happening because of Lakshmi and if he wants to stop Neelam, he has to kick Lakshmi out of the house.

Elsewhere, Lakshmi enters the house the Oberoi house with Shalu when Karishma tells her to freeze, asking her to leave the house from there only.

Rishi appears there and tries to stop Karishma when Virendra scolds Karishma for misbehaving and asks her to talk softly.

However, Karishma continues to yell at Lakshmi and blames her presence for creating clashes in her family while Shalu rushes to Ayush to enquire about the situation.

Just then, Karishma calls Lakshmi a bad omen when Shalu defends Lakshmi and tells her to watch her tongue while speaking about her sister.

Meanwhile, Sonia rushes downstairs, holds Lakshmi’s hand, and throws her outside the house when Virendra yells at her but she doesn’t stop.

Neelam shouts Sonia’s name, asking her to stop but Sonia gets hyper-aggressive and tells her that she can’t let her mother leave the house because of Lakshmi.

While Virendra warns Sonia not to speak ill about Lakshmi since she’s his daughter too, Sonia rebukes Lakshmi for her level, making Virendra furious about it.

Further, Lakshmi herself says that she’s leaving the house as it’s better for everyone When Neelam stops her, everyone is shocked.

Neelam announces that Virendra will decide today who’s going to stay and who’s going to leave when Lkahsmi requests Neelam to let her go but Neelam stays stubborn.

Suddenly Harleen appears there and gets happy to see Lakshmi, inviting her inside the house and Lakshmi decides to leave but is again stopped by Harleen, saying that she can’t let her go.

On the other hand, Sonal informs Kiran about their meeting with Vikrant in the cafe who asked to help them.
