Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 5th April 2023 episode starts with Lakshmi and Malishka dancing to the song, 'Ghar more pardesiya' as Rano is shocked to see them together.

Just like she says as if the East and West are together, Kiran tells Sonal that something bad is going to happen.

Sonal goes to calm Malishka whereas Shalu and Bani go to calm down Lakshmi and manage the situation.

Suddenly Sonal pushes Malishka into the water as Kiran understands that she has done that to make Malishka come to her senses.

Instead, she takes Sonal too inside the pool with her and calls out for Lakshmi to also join them.

However, Shalu stops her as she questions if Malishka can do anything for Rishi because she loves him.

Malishka gives a positive reply as Shalu says that Malishka will not even think of doing evil to others just because she is doing it for Rishi.

Malishka changes the topic as she appreciates Lakshmi's help in saving Rishi when he was trapped in the fire.

She runs to Neelam and touches her feet gesturing to apologize because she feels guilty for not saving Rishi from the fire.

Shalu asks her if for Rishi she can even create false scenes and directly ask if anything happened that day.

Shalu tries to indicate the night when Lakshmi sees Malishka and Rishi together but Malishka says nothing happened and adds that nothing happened to Rishi in the fire incident because Lakshmi saved him.

Malishka then gets unconscious as Neelam orders Rishi to carry her home.

Malishka pretends to be unconscious as she is happy to see Lakshmi getting scolded and getting everyone's sympathy.

Karishma then scolds Lakshmi for embarrassing their family in front of the guests as Neelam says Malishka is so good and innocent that she even feels guilty for not being able to save Rishi.

Kiran shouts at Shalu for blaming Malishka for deceiving them all as Shalu says the plan failed which she had made with Bani.

She does not disclose Ayush's name as Rano supports Shalu and takes them home after Harleen consoles them.

Neelam takes Lakshmi away and locks her in the room till she comes to her senses.

Meanwhile, Rishi feels sorry that Malishka feels guilty for not being able to save him as he puts the quilt on her.

Malishka is very happy to have her revenge on Lakshmi and get Rishi's attention at the same time.

Coming out of the room, Neelam tells Rishi to promise her that he will not meet Lakshmi in her room until she comes to her senses.

Rishi promises her as he goes to his room and on the other hand, downstairs, Karishma blames Lakshmi for embarrassing them.

Harleen clarifies that what Lakshmi said is the truth and has not embarrassed them at all.

Neelam tells that Harleen finds good in everything Lakshmi does as Harleen agrees with it that Lakshmi is a good person.

Lastly, she orders Neelam not to punish Lakshmi for her behaviour as Neelam does not listen when Harleen requests her.

At the same time, Rishi thinks of Lakshmi in his room as he understands how much he loves her.

He remembers Lakshmi putting colour on him as he agrees that the colour of love is the deepest and can only be felt when in love.

He takes out the tissue rose by Lakshmi and smells it as he touches his heart to feel it beat for Lakshmi.
