Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 5th May 2023 episode starts with Aayush and Shalu rushing to see the reporter asking her about the bomb blast and Rishi-Lakshmi.

The reporter tells them that she has no information but will surely inform her if she gets any news.

On the other hand, Vikrant's mother and Saloni watch the news and shed tears as they hope that Lakshmi is not fine.

At the Oberoi house, Kiran rushes to ask about Rishi since the news about Lakshmi and the bomb blasting is circulating.

Malishka states that nothing is going to happen to Rishi while Vikrant butts in saying that nothing will happen to Lakshmi also.

Neelam demands to go and see Rishi while Vikrant agrees to take her there.

As they leave, Virender and Harleen discuss Neelam's odd behavior and wonder if she somehow knew about this beforehand.

At the cliff, Rishi keeps on shouting for Lakshmi as he recalls all the moments when she saved him while the two other men hold him back.

Just then, he sees Lakshmi unconscious on the steep cliff but the men tell him that he is just hallucinating.

The men continue to tell him that he is hallucinating but he does not listen to them and starts walking towards where he was her.

He falls and does not find Lakshmi when he looks up again while the men assume that he has gone crazy and tell Rishi to leave from there since Lakshmi might probably not have survived.

Rishi gets on his knees and continues sobbing uncontrollably while Neelam and Vikrant are on their way to the ministry office.

Vikrant tries to cheer up Neelam while hoping that his Lakshmiji and Rishi are fine.

In the distance, the businessman who hired the terrorists tries to escape but fails as the police catch him and take him to jail.

He blames Lakshmi for his ruin and says that he will be happy if she dies.

Shalu and Aayush reach the cliff along with the police, medical staff, and media reporters who start telecasting it live.

Aayush and Shalu start looking for Rishi who is sitting like a dead man motionless when Vikrant and Neelam also reach there.

Neelam notices Rishi and walks toward him but stops as she hears him ask where Lakshmi has gone and begging Lakshmi to take him with her.

He hallucinates Lakshmi reaching out her hand to him and starts walking toward her while Neelam stands confused.

Vikrant's mother calls the Oberoi family to ask about any new news while Karishma picks up the call and informs them that Vikrant and Neelam have gone to the site.

Saloni starts panicking while Vikrant's mother shakes her and tells her that Vikrant and Lakshmi will get married.

At home, Malishka, Saloni, and Sonia celebrate Lakshmi's disappearance while Kiran comes there and berates them for thinking of Lakshmi's death.

Malishka tells Kiran that she is not hoping for Lakshmi to die and says that she is worried about Rishi becoming Devdas in Lakshmi's memory.

Back at the cliff, Rishi starts running towards the cliff while the family members run after him to stop him.

Rishi falls down the cliff and everyone covers their mouth in shock while Bani starts crying thinking that she has lost both her sister and brother-in-law.

The Oberoi family starts crying seeing Rishi jump off the cliff on the news while Dayasagar learns about what is happening.

He orders the police officers to find Lakshmi and Rishi alive at any cost.
