Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 5th October 2023 episode starts with Ayush telling Rishi that Neelam has brought in Malishka, as her daughter-in-law. 

However, Rishi tells Ayush that it's fine, since he is with Lakshmi and after a while, Ayush tells Rishi that his surroundings need furnishing following which Shalu, Bani and him agree to go shopping.

Rishi wants to give in money but Ayush disagrees stating that he better help him out when he marries Shalu, after which they walk out.

Rishi then tells Lakshmi that if Neelam had supported them in the manner Ayush is supporting, it would have been good.

Elsewhere, Virender suggests Neelam have juice following which Malishka too requests Neelam to drink the juice.

Neelam then drinks the juice while on the other hand, Rishi tells Lakshmi that he's going to the office.

A woman enters and gives Lakshmi a mosquito net, following which Lakshmi thanks her and the woman leaves, after which Rishi suggests he help her out.

Very soon, Rishi and Lakshmi attach the mosquito net and Rishi uses a hammer to put nails in, but hurts himself.

Lakshmi then attends to him and after a while, they look at each other, when Lakshmi asks Rishi if his hand is still paining, making Rishi state, that he is fine.

She then tells Rishi that she will attend to the work but Rishi states that he will do it, but Lakshmi suggests he go.

Rishi agrees and Lakshmi helps him wear his clothes, after which he walks forward, but trips on the hammer and picking it up, gives it to Lakshmi. 

Lakshmi playfully threatens Rishi with the hammer, thus making Rishi go out, and Lakshmi starts hammering the nails in.

However, she hurts herself while doing so, but to her surprise, finds Rishi attending to her when Lakshmi asks Rishi if he didn't go, who then states that he was tensed since he felt she would hurt herself.

Rishi then asks Lakshmi to give him work but Lakshmi states that she will do it herself and after a while, drives Rishi out by playfully taking the hammer again.

Lakshmi then tells herself that Rishi even left Neelam for her while on the other hand, Malishka complains about Rishi being inconsiderate towards Neelam to Karishma, Kiran and Sonal.

Karishma tells Malishka that Lakshmi has manipulated Rishi, making Malishka ask Karishma if Rishi is a kid.

Kiran then says that she heard from Virender that Rishi is staying in a poor place, which makes Karishma state that Rishi will be back soon.

However, Kiran states that Rishi can grow from rags to riches since he is an Oberoi, and should be ripped off from his surname.

Meanwhile, a deal finalises between Rishi and a businessman, who then asks Rishi for Virender's signatures.

Rishi then decides to go home while at Oberoi's, Kiran tells Neelam to take care of herself and walks away, during which Rishi reaches and Malishka runs forward and hugs him, making Neelam aware.

He asks after Neelam's health but Neelam deems it unnecessary since he has already come back.

Rishi then tells Malishka that he is here for Virender, and seeing him, asks him to sign off the papers by addressing him as sir.

Virender asks him to not break his relationship with him, making Rishi state that he recognizes everyone as family, but currently has come as an employee.

Virender then signs the paper and Rishi thanks him, after which he informs everyone that he is going to marry Lakshmi.

Harleen and Virender congratulate him, but Malishka asks Rishi if he's gone mad, who then states that she can't stop him and walks away.

Malishka then goes after Rishi to convince him, while Karishma wonders about her actions and gets worried.
