Today's Bhagya Lakshmi 8th June 2023 episode starts with Neelam welcoming their guests who praise them for arranging their daughter-in-law's wedding with great pomp. 

However, Virendra tells them that Lakshmi is dear to them like a daughter only. 

Shalu and Bani arrive while Dadi asks them about Rano and Neha. 

With sad faces, they tell Dadi that they are right behind them. 

Meanwhile, Karishma and Kiran are feeling happy to be finally getting rid of Lakshmi. 

Kiran cautions Karishma that they should not celebrate yet as Lakshmi has yet to leave the house completely. 

Meanwhile, Rishi comes to Lakshmi’s room to return her bangle that has found its way outside the door. 

They both stare at each other for a long time remembering the past moments. 

Rishi compliments her for looking beautiful and puts a black dot behind her ears after stealing the kohl from her eyes. 

Meanwhile, Lakshmi tells Rishi to go as they can be misunderstood if seen together. 

Before leaving, Rishi once again turns around and thinks inwardly that he loves Lakshmi a lot and wants to be the one to give her all the happiness. 

As if Lakshmi can hear it, she thinks that they cannot go against their Bhagya (destiny) while Rishi thinks that he is also bestowing everything upon the maker of Bhagya. 

On the other hand, Aayush is patting his back for coming up with 3 plans to stop the wedding when Bani and Shalu come to his room. 

Ayush happiness does not sit well with the sisters and they ask him why is smiling on a day like this. 

Aayush proudly tells them that he has come up with three solid plans to stop the engagement and they will be dazzled upon hearing them. 

However, seeing all his plans are about kidnapping either Vikrant or Lakshmi, Shalu roasts him for being stupid and explains to him that they cannot keep either of them kidnapped forever.

As the moment they are released, the engagement will proceed. 

After a while, Shalu also tells her plan which is equally stupid and both Aayush and Shalu begin to bicker about it. 

However, Bani silences them telling them to come up with a decent plan as it is too important for RishMi. 

Elsewhere, Lakshmi sees the Mangal Sutra in her drawer and longs to feel it around her neck but realizes how impossible it is now.

Just then, Bani comes to her and tells her that only Rishi’s Mangal Sutra suits her and not Vikrant’s.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi gets serious and asks about Shalu and why is she with Aayush. 

She reminds her of their promise to not plan anything to stop the wedding.

However, Bani tells her that they should only focus on their promise to their father to always look for each other’s happiness and well-being. 

Meanwhile, Neelam and Karishma are discussing the threat to Lakshmi’s life and wonder if the knife incident was the one Pandit Ji referred to. 

Meanwhile, Rishi is thinking the same thing and tells himself to be alert. 

At the same time, Karishma tells Neelam that they have made arrangements to keep Rishi away from Lakshmi. 

On being asked, she tells him that she has added sleeping pills to Rishi’s juice that he has asked for and has given Sonia instructions to assure that he drinks it. 

In Rishi’s room, Sonia comes with two glasses of juice and hands him one while she drinks another. 

Rishi looks surprised to see Sonia while Sonia tells him that she has come to cheer him up. 

She also tells him that now he should focus on Malishka as she is the one he loves. 

Later, Sonia spots Shalu and Aayush together and accuses Shalu of planning to come into this house now that her sister is driven out.
