Today's Dharam Patni 18th April 2023 episode starts with Pratiksha and Ravi holding hands as the wedding rites begin, and Pratiksha begins to imagine how everything is going tragically.

Pratiksha begins to imagine both of them dancing and getting close, only to find it was all in her head.

Meanwhile, Amaira and Ammy talk, and Amaira begins to sympathize with Pratiksha, which irritates Ammy.

Ammy, on the other hand, begins making disparaging remarks about Pratiksha and maintains that no one remembers her.

She also asks Amaira to calm down and accept the fact that Ravi is marrying Kavya.

The priest instructs Mandeep to fetch the Gatbandhan veil, and when she arrives, the priest instructs her to tie the knot.

However, Pratiksha remembers her family, and Pratik arrives unexpectedly, halting the wedding.

Gulshan, noticing Pratik, summons security, while Pratik, enraged, declares that the wedding cannot take place.

Manvi, on the other hand, leaps on the Parekh family and labels them a shameless family that always returns to cause new difficulties in the Randhawa family, while also confirming Pratik's suspicion that Pratiksha is not present today.

Pratik accuses Gulshan of kidnapping Pratiksha and also of bribing the police to not assist Pratik in finding Pratiksha.

The police arrive and inform everyone that they must arrest Kavya Sachdeva, which shocks everyone.

Mandeep stops the inspector, but the inspector assures her that they have an arrest warrant and must arrest Kavya.

Hansa grabs Pratiksha's hand and passes her to the cops, mistaking her for Kavya.

Gulshan attempts to contact higher-ups, but Pratik argues that he only baffles loud words and does nothing.

He goes on to say that he will put Gulshan through the same ordeal that he put Pratik through by separating him from Pratiksha.

While all of this is going on, Pratiksha attempts to show Kinjal signs with her fingertips, while Kinjal appears puzzled.

However, Pratik orders the inspector to take Kavya away immediately, as Amardeep attempts to console Gulshan.

As the constable approaches Pratiksha, her veil becomes entangled in Ravi's suit, prompting him to approach her and carefully remove it.

Manvi sobs as she hugs Pratiksha, believing it is Kavya, while Ravi sees Pratiksha's face and believes he is dreaming of Pratiksha when it is Kavya.

Meanwhile, Kavya awakens and discovers herself in the closet.

She starts pounding on the closet door, becoming anxious as she considers Pratiksha marrying Ravi.

On Manvi's orders, the goons try to find Pratiksha and are startled to hear Kavya's voice from another room.

When the goons approach the room, they hear Kavya yell for aid and both remain still.

Gulshan, on the other hand, interrupts the inspector and begins yelling at Pratik, who stands bravely in front of him and states he can't do anything now.

However, the police arrest Pratiksha, and as they leave, Pratiksha pinches Kinjal on her arm, which enrages Kinjal.

Parul arrives and inquires about Pratiksha, while Kinjal informs her of the pinching incident.

Parul pauses Kinjal for a moment, puzzled, and reminds her of the time when Pratiksha warned them about the pinching act whenever they are in difficulties.

Kinjal then begins to have doubts about Pratiksha in Kavya's costume and stops the inspector.

Kinjal abruptly requests that the complaint be withdrawn, but Hansa tells Kinjal not to interfere with police operations.

Pratik agrees with Hansa and asks the inspector to detain Kavya.
