Today's Dharam Patni 18th August 2023 episode starts with Pratiksha telling Ravi to not support her while he asks her what she wants from him.

Ravi argues with her and tells her that the whole family is upset with him because of Pratiksha.

Pratiksha asks him what she did and he tells her that she is not wrong but she was also never right for his mother too.

She tries to tell him that it happened because he married her and Kavya but he tells her not to include anyone in their conversation who does not matter to them. 

He cries that he is at fault since he cannot even do anything to stop his mother from crying and starts hitting the pillar telling himself that he couldn't handle a single relationship. 

Pratiksha comes in between to stop him from hurting himself when he stops his fist in the air. 

He slowly opens his fist and gazes her neck which holds the Mangalsutra as he asks her why she does this to him. 

Ravi leaves there while Pratiksha goes after him. 

Kinjal feels bad for them seeing everything while Dadi tells her that everything happens for the good. 

She states that if Ravi had been a little less angry, Pratiksha's emotions would have come too and they would have confessed to each other. 

Dadu tells Kinjal to wait till tomorrow as the pooja is going to fix everything. 

On the other hand, both Ravi and Pratiksha sit in their rooms and feel worse recalling harsh words from each other. 

They both think that they are tired of the misunderstandings in the relationship and need time to solve the knots. 

Elsewhere, Kavya smirks in her room thinking that she has finally found a way to separate Ravi from Pratiksha before he even becomes hers. 

Pratiksha's mind goes to when she saw Kavya and Viper at the hospital. 

Kinjal comes there and Pratiksha tells her that Kavya had hired Viper as a hitman to kill her. 

They both plan to try to get Kavya's phone the next day during the pooja to find out her secrets. 

Later, Adi goes to Ravi's room and teases him asking if he was expecting Pratiksha since he cares for her. 

Ravi refuses but agrees that he cares for Pratiksha and even risked his life to save her. 

Pratiksha hears this from the entrance door and gets happy while Ravi starts reasoning that he did all this for Pratiksha only because she's the daughter-in-law of the family. 

She feels hurt hearing this and leaves while Adi tells Ravi that he is confused with his words. 

Ravi tells him to get out and threatens to kill him in his sleep if he tells Pratiksha about their conversation. 

Pratiksha goes to her room and asks herself why she feels love in the relationship when Ravi doesn't care for her.

She thinks about how she saw Ravi caring for Kavya and tells herself that she is stupid to think that Ravi loves her. 

Ravi wonders while sitting in his room that he likes Pratiksha only till her mouth is shut and goes to sleep. 

Pratiksha thinks to herself that she is glad she didn't confess to Ravi as there is no love.
