Today's Dharam Patni 20th September 2023 episode starts with Gulshan asking Manvi about her doings inside while Malhar tells him to calm down.

Before Gulshan can argue, Malhar states that the investigation was false and tells the constable to release Kavya and Manvi from jail.

Gulshan goes to complete the formalities while Malhar tells Kavya to keep her part of the deal and make sure that Pratiksha and Ravi do not become one stating that Pratiksha is only his.

Meanwhile, at the Randhawa house, Pratiksha is talking to Kinjal about Gulshan threatening Amardeep about something related to business.

Just then, the doorbell rings and Dolly rushes to open it thinking that it is Kavya and the Sachdevas.

However, it turns out to be Adi only and the family looks on as Kavya makes her entry with her parents.

She stands in front of Pratiksha and tells her that she is back while the family looks on.

Kavya tells Pratiksha that she thought she would be eager to see Ravi and Mandeep but she was actually eager to see Pratiksha's reaction to see how she will react upon her return.

Pratiksha talks about how Gulshan got her out of jail while Kavya states that she did nothing wrong.

Gulshan tells the family that his daughter will stay here only because of Kavya's wish.

He looks at Pratiksha with fury stating that Kavya will stay with the rights and respect she deserves and no one should disrespect her.

Ravi asks Gulshan why it seems like he is threatening them while Pratiksha states that Kavya can stay with them but not with the rights of a daughter-in-law.

Mandeep states that Kavya and Manvi both will stay with them as Kavya is the daughter of the house stating they don't need to fear anyone.

Gulshan states that one should fear the consequences of their actions and tells the family that he is leaving for now but he will be back later.

Everyone leaves except for Pratiksha and Kavya as Pratiksha fills a glass for herself.

Kavya tells her to go and close the door while she adds a pill into the glass of water and gives it to her when she returns.

She tells Pratiksha that her victory has started as she has returned to the house and will end up in Ravi's room too.

However, Pratiksha also tells her that only time will tell who ends up victorious.

Later, Pratiksha returns to Ravi's room and he apologizes to her while she tells him that she knows Kavya will not leave their house.

She states that Kavya will leave only when she wants to or when she does something that will make her kick Kavya out of the house.

Meanwhile, Kavya tells Manvi that she will make sure that Pratiksha does not get close to Ravi today and will get Ravi for herself by Janmashtami, the next day.

Back in Ravi's room, Pratiksha falls asleep while Ravi tends to her.

Kavya tells Manvi that she will do something that will make Ravi hate Pratiksha.

The next morning, Pratiksha wakes up and feels her head pounding as she wonders how she fell asleep and why she is still feeling dizzy.

Seeing the time on the clock, she is shocked to see that it's almost noon and rushes downstairs.

Downstairs, the ladies are seeing sarees and Kavya mocks Pratiksha calling her a sleeping beauty.
