Today's Dharam Patni 5th May 2023 episode starts with Pratiksha struggling for her rights while Ravi grabs her tightly and denies any relationship with her.

Pratiksha describes how Shiv and Parvati are together and how their love is pure after which she touches Ravi's feet to receive blessings.

She describes how she wears Ravi's name Mangal Sutra and follows her Dharam of being a good wife.

Pratiksha further mentions how she will lose all respect for Ravi the day he breaks all boundaries and continues to mistreat her.

However, Sushila intervenes and asks Ravi to behave properly while Ravi begins to argue.

Sushila warns Mandeep that she has not taught Ravi good manners and ethics as a result of which he does not even know how to respect elders.

She also mocks Ammy for attempting to break her own brother's house by separating Pratiksha.

Ammy begins to argue but the NGO personnel holds firm and taunts Ammy and calls her a shameless woman.

Meanwhile, Dolly enjoys the scene while Sushila asks Ammy to behave appropriately for her age.

Kinjal and Parul arrive and while holding Pratiksha's hand she inquires whether everything is fine.

Pratiksha, with a smile on her face, tells Kinjal and Parul that she is not going to be treated unfairly and that she is Ravi's only wife.

Parul begins to tease Ravi and nicknames him 'Jiju,' while Kavya angrily labels Parul a reptilian creature and dares her not to interfere.

Kinjal continues to call Jiju as Kavya becomes increasingly enraged.

Parul informs Kavya that Pratiksha is Ravi's legal wife to which Kavya responds that the marriage was arranged incorrectly and that she refuses to recognize it.

Kavya adds that the three sisters go everywhere together and create new drama to which Pratiksha assures her that her family is linked by pure hearts.

Kinjal, on the other hand, begs Pratiksha not to waste her energy on Kavya, and Kavya, upon hearing this, asks Kinjal to mind her language.

In contrast, Mandeep begin mocking Pratiksha and her use of the law to wrongfully gain access to the Randhawa family's wealth.

The NGO workers support Pratiksha, but Harneet declares that she will finish the misery today and when she approaches Pratiksha she asks how much money she needs to leave Ravi and the Randhawa family.

Pratiksha pauses for a second before responding 1500 crore, which surprises everyone. 

She explains that the Randhawas only understand money language hence Ravi's value on the internet is 1500 crore.

Mandeep explains how she discovered Pratiksha was a gold digger and begins making disparaging remarks about Pratik and Hansa.

This upsets Pratiksha who stops Mandeep and informs him that she only respects people who treat her equally with care and dignity.

Ravi, on the other hand, interrupts Pratiksha and warns her not to talk ill of Mandeep despite Pratiksha's insistence that she only respects good people.

Pratiksha and Ravi got into a quarrel where they call one other 'Tindy Pratiksha' and 'Karwa Ravi' while everyone looks surprised at them.

The NGO people says that this is pure love between husband and wife, but Mandeep assures Ravi that he is not in love with the evil Pratiksha.

Sushila asks Mandeep if she is Ravi's biological mother, which enrages Mandeep and prompts her to call the police.
