Today's Dharam Patni 9th May 2023 episode starts with Amardeep pretending to faint and tells Mandeep to come upstairs because his BP medications are in the room.

Kinjal and Parul murmur about them running, as the inspector mocks Amardeep for faking BP as she announces the arrest, and Ravi, hearing this, tells her to stay within her limitations.

Parul comes up and confesses that she always wanted Pratiksha to marry Ravi, but she's been wrong about him and names him jiju.

Ravi yells angrily at Parul to stop calling him Jiju and Pratiksha supports Parul, claiming that he owes her family respect because she is his wife.

Pratiksha complains that she is tired of reiterating the same thing to Ravi, and Ravi, irritated, offers her lemon water.

Biji requests that Dolly provide refreshments for everyone, but Ravi refuses, and Pratiksha advises Ravi that because visitors are present, they must show compassion and serve something.

Ravi orders Pratiksha to leave him, while Pratiksha expresses worry for his family and requests that the inspector not arrest anyone.

Ammy, on the other hand, advises Ravi to contact Mr. Khanna and seek his assistance in getting rid of Pratiksha.

Later, Kavya enters the kitchen and begins insulting Pratiksha to Ammy, claiming that she is afraid Pratiksha will kidnap Ravi and is also concerned about Gulshan.

Ammy comforts Kavya by telling her that she is Ravi's childhood friend and that he adores her, and will only have feelings for her.

Kavya becomes energized and requests that Ammy hurry and investigate what is going on in the hall.

Ravi calls Mr. Khanna and requests for his assistance in expelling Pratiksha from the house, while he informs Ravi that he has no other choice except to divorce her.

When Ravi hears this, he rejects the idea since he does not believe marrying Pratiksha was legitimate, but the lawyer verifies that this is the only procedure allowed by law.

Meanwhile, Amardeep, Mandeep, Manvi, and Gulshan are in a room where Amardeep is overflowing with anxiety and asks Gulshan how he can simply sit knowing everything.

Manvi requests that Amardeep speak respectfully with Gulshan, to which Gulshan responds angrily and wants a solution to the matter.

Gulshan pauses for a second and claims to have a solution, but in that event, Ravi will be arrested, and all four rush out of the room.

However, as Ravi enters the room, Pratiksha informs him that phoning the lawyer has been futile and asks that he accept her idea.

Mandeep argues that Pratiksha has no right to be in the house, querying the police if she has been bribed by Pratiksha, which enrages her and prompts her to demand that she be arrested.

Pratiksha interrupts the inspector and asks Biji to come to a separate room because she needs to talk.

Pratiksha holding Biji's hand explains to her that she does not want the Randhawa's imprisoned and wants her to help others understand the same.

Biji storms back into the hall, and Pratiksha thanks the inspector and the NGO ladies for their support, saying that Biji has accepted her as Ravi's wife.

Everyone looks at Biji, bewildered, as Biji confirms the statement and the inspector leaves, adding that they may come and look into the situation at any time.

As the inspector departs, everyone returns to their rooms while Ravi plans to expel Pratiksha from his life.
