Today's Faltu 17th February 2023 episode starts with Tanisha asking Ayaan if he’s fine but when he doesn’t respond, she changes the topic to the Maha Shivratri fast that she’ll keep for him the next day.

Ayaan tells her that he has more work to do in the office so he’ll be late coming home that day and walks away.

Mayawati instructs Faltu to make the all arrangements necessary for the Maha Shivratri as she would be the only woman who would not be on a fast tomorrow.

Faltu thinks to herself that she will secretly keep a fast too, but if it’s god’s will, she will manage to get the strength to do all the work and fast at the same time.

Later, while Ayaan is looking at his phone, he runs into Faltu, and his phone drops

As they both bend down to pick up the phone at the same time, their hands touch and gazes meet while Ayaan recalls the words Faltu said to him before he fainted.

On the other hand, Tanisha is confused about trusting Faltu, she tells Sid that she had caught her painting her hairline with vermilion for Ayaan the other day.

Tanisha adds that she’s pretty sure Faltu may even try fasting for Ayaan tomorrow but she cannot let that happen.

The next morning, the priest tells an impressed Mayawati that Faltu decorated the place on her own for the auspicious festival.

Faltu adds that she has even made the food that will be offered which agitates Savita and Tanisha.

They all begin with the morning prayer ceremony and Mayawati thanks the priest.

Later, Sid tells Sumitra that he’s sure that Faltu is still in love with Ayaan.

He tells her that they must make sure Tanisha doesn’t break Faltu’s fast and ensure they use this to break apart Ayaan and Tanisha’s relationship.

Mayawati spots Tanisha with a plate full of food in her hand and reminds her it’s her fast.

Tanisha reassures her that she remembers the fast and tells her that this food is for Faltu.

Faltu is speechless and doesn’t take the food and Tanisha questions if she’s fasting too.

Faltu tells her that she isn’t fasting and finds herself in a situation difficult to get out of.

Sumitra sees Tanisha forcing Faltu to eat and immediately calls Faltu for some work which greatly relieves Faltu.

Tanisha is now sure that Faltu is fasting and plans to break it, while Faltu wonders if Tanisha suspects her fast.

Faltu thinks of a way to assure Tanisha she ate and wraps the food in a tissue.

Before she can take the food away, Tanisha brings along Mayawati but as Tanisha uncovers the plate, she’s shocked to see the plate empty.

Faltu tells them she has eaten and that is what she was doing in the kitchen when in reality she had slipped the food into a drawer behind them.

On the other hand, Tanisha tells Kanika that maybe Faltu was scared after the other night and is not taking the risk of fasting.

She asks Kanika to do something to kick Faltu out of her house and Kanika assures Tanisha that she has figured out a plan to get Faltu admitted to an academy.

Tanisha feels drained as she’s not used to fasting and Kanika tells her to secretly eat something in her room.

Tanisha tries to control herself but she feels dizzy as soon as she gets up, so she decides to have some chocolates.

Meanwhile, Faltu feels dizzy too as she has been working relentlessly for hours on a fast and Ayaan catches her before she falls.

Tanisha witnesses all this and gets enraged as her heart shatters.
