Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 17th December 2022 episode starts with Ninad trying to calm down a panicked Virat who says that as long as his hopes are alive, he is going to find Patralekha.

However, Ninand replies saying that even if they find Patralekha, they do not know whether she is alive or not since the bus dropped from a long height.

Ashwini cries but agrees with Ninad while Bhavani interferes and scolds Ashwini & Ninad for saying so.

Ashwini asks Virat why didn't he notice whether Patralekha was out of the bus or not and he says he thought she came out.

Virat asks Vinayak's teacher whether she noticed that Pakhi was out or not & the teacher states that she saw Virat come out of the bus with a few children first and then get busy to save his ex-wife's life.

At the mention of Sai, Bhavani loses all control and steps toward Virat, saying he is the reason Pakhi is dead.

Virat listens to the scolding of Bhavani who makes it clear that ever since Sai reentered their house, their life has become hell and unfortunate events are following them.

She yells at Virat saying he didn't even care to know whether Pakhi left the bus or not and points her fingers at Sai for the blame.

Virat's eyes harden as he shouts that Pakhi is not dead and nobody will dare say that.

Meanwhile, the police officials come and inform the Chavans that Patralekha was seen nowhere and even her body hasn't been found.

Ashwini takes the pallu of her saree in her mouth and weeps uncontrollably while a crying Vinu approaches Virat and asks him to look for his Mumma while Virat comforts him.

Sai takes a crying Vinayak away and tries to comfort him with her motherly nature, however, Sai herself treads into the forest after a minute to look for Pakhi.

She finds a camera broken on the ground that was being used to click pictures and cries seeing Pakhi's photo in there.

Reaching a stream, Sai's feet slip due to the muddy area as her hands get sliced by rubbing against the tiny, sharp pebbles.

A few droplets of her blood land on the water while Sai bandages her hand using the wrapping of her head.

However, a crocodile nears Sai and she gets scared when suddenly, Sai also sees Pakhi's unconscious body lying facing a rock.

Sai smears a little bit of her blood on a stick and throws it in the water so the crocodile follows it and she goes to pick up Pakhi.

Virat and the police come there and shoot the crocodile and Virat picks up Patralekha, into the ambulance.

The Chavans pray for Pakhi as Sai informs the nurse about Pakhi's condition.

However, Bhavani grabs Sai's hand at the hospital and asks if Sai will only get satisfied when Patralekha dies.

Sai glares at Bhavani and retorts back, reminding her that she is the doctor and that whoever she treats in the ward is neither her friend nor her enemy.

Sai throws Bhavani's hand from her arm as Virat asks Bhavani to stop and Sai goes inside to treat an emergetic Patralekha.
