Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 17th May 2022 episode starts with Pulkit welcoming and congratulating the new interns on their results and introducing Sai as the topper student.

Just then the stranger comes in and scolds everyone for celebrating passing their exams. He tells them that their real test is in practical life. 

He rudely tells them to focus on learning and stop the drama of greetings felicitating everyone. 

Pulkit introduces him to be Dr Machindra Thurat his senior in charge and leaves.

Afterwards, Dr Thuraat asks for an introduction from everyone and stops at Sai and once again criticises her for being married and playing loving couples in the hospital.

Sai feels humiliated at Dr Thuraat’s criticism. 

Dr Thuraat takes the interns and assigns their duties to them.

Seeing Sai smile, Dr Thuraat once again targets her and tells her to stop being an emotional fool around him and start acting responsibly in the hospital.

Sai feels disheartened at the rebuke while Dr Thuraat moves on to assigning duties.

At the Chavan house, Patralekha sarcastically tells Bhavani that all the work has been done and now Sai can come and be applauded for all their work.

On being assigned the duty, Sai gets worried about reaching home in time and is afraid to ask Dr Thuraat about leaving early. 

Meanwhile, Samrat finds Patralekha taking medicines for headaches and asks her to share her problems with her.

At the hospital, Sai thinks of trying her luck with the Dr Thuraat and goes in to ask him a favour but is asked to leave the hospital. 

Not expecting such a harsh reply to her request, Sai is in dilemma as to what to do next to appease Dr Thuraat.

Meanwhile, Patralekha vents all her anger on Samrat and surprisingly feels light-headed.

Sai is waiting in the corridor for Dr Thuraat and asks him to listen to her.

In the meantime, Patralekha decides to wait for the opportunity to expose Sai’s true nature to Bhavani.
