Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 18th October 2023 episode starts with Ishaan telling Savi that he will guide her in achieving her aim, leading Savi to ask Ishaan if he had appeared for the UPSC exam.

Hearing this, Ishaan reveals to Savi that he has cleared his mains too, but never appeared for the interview, since he wanted to work at Bhosale Institute. 

Savi tells Ishaan that she wants to be a topper like him, making Ishaan ask Savi if she's willing to accept him as her mentor and Savi says yes, following which Ishaan suggests Savi have a fresh start.

Ishaan walks forward to the temple in Savi's room and takes the holy thread, thus tying it to Savi's wrist and promises to guide her sincerely. 

Ishaan tells Savi to promise him to never disappoint him, leading Savi to promise Ishaan that she'll abide by his words.

In the meantime, Shantanu comes to the hostel and seeing Ishaan's car, gets the confirmation of his presence.

Inside, Savi compares Ishaan's mentorship with that of Isha leading Ishaan to tell Savi that Isha is a bad mother but Savi disagrees and urges Ishaan to try understanding Isha.

Just then, Savi gets reminded of Ishaan's warning of never trying to interfere in his life leading her to instantly apologise. 

Outside, Shantanu knocks on the door following which Ishaan and Savi inform him that they are locked inside, when Savi asks for a screwdriver.

Shantanu calls Shukla, asking him to get the screwdriver, after which Shantanu calls Nishikant and informs him about Ishaan being stuck in Savi's room.

At Bhosale House, Nishikant informs Surekha about Ishaan being stuck in Savi's room, leading Surekha to get fired up.

Surekha tells Nishikant that Savi is manipulating Ishaan and not to let it happen, Nishikant must join her to teach Savi a lesson.

However, Nishikant suggests that Surekha calm down since they will be the subject of gossip if passers-by notice them, adding that they should wait for Ishaan.

At the hostel, Shantanu and Shukla give a screwdriver to Ishaan from beneath the door. 

Later, Savi and Ishaan unscrew the nails, during which Ishaan asks Savi to give him a heavy object. 

Savi gives him a scale and Isha's besan laddoo container, after which Ishaan successfully opens the door. 

Savi and Ishaan thank Shantanu and Shukla for coming to help them, while Shantanu asks Ishaan about him coming to the girl's hostel. 

Ishaan informs Shantanu of him coming to help Savi and after a while, Ishaan asks Shukla to set the room door and leaves with Shantanu.

Afterwards seeing that Ishaan is back home with Shantanu, Surekha asks Ishaan why Savi called him up, instead of taking someone else's help.

This leads Ishaan to clear things up with Surekha, stating that he went to help Savi solely by himself, adding that she didn't call him.
