Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 1st February 2023 episode starts with Savi being astonished to see Sai upset and asking her about Vinayak. 

Savi begins to search for Vinayak and asks Sai why Vinayak hasn’t come home with her as she said. 

Sai is too hurt to respond and hugs Savi, thinking that Usha has rightly said that Virat will support Patralekha and he has done that only. 

In the meantime, Virat returns home with Patralekha and Vinayak and the  Chavan's gets overjoyed to see Vinayak.

However, they all pass cold looks to Patralekha.

Vinayak looks puzzled at their overwhelming response and asks them why they are behaving weirdly. 

Bhavani tells him that his absence for a short while made them realize how important he is to the family. 

The next day, Ninad comes to Vinayak's room while he is asleep and looks at him.

Later, Bhavani also comes there and presents him with a family heirloom while Vinayak feels sleepy and asks her if he can sleep. 

Just then, Omi also comes there and Bhavani takes him back so that Vinayak can sleep.

Later, Patralekha comes there and sings a lullaby to Vinayak.

However, Sai’s call on Vinayak’s phone scares her. 

On the other hand, Virat is thinking about last night's events and leaves the house. 

Later, Sai is walking toward the lawyer's office while Virat comes to a deserted road, shouting loudly to get the anger and frustration out. 

He apologizes to Sai, speaking to himself for taking away her right to take Vinayak because if he hadn’t supported Patralekha yesterday, then she would have killed herself. 

Meanwhile, Sai tells the lawyer that she wants to file the custody case.

The lawyer asks certain personal questions related to the case and tells her that there is no point in filing the case.

The lawyer also informs Sai that real parents lose their rights to the child after he gets adopted.  

Further, he also tells her that in this case, the adopted parents are the child's surrogate mother and real father which makes the case even weaker for Sai.
