Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein (GHKKPM) 1 January 2022 episode starts with Ashwini asking Virat nicely while he keeps saying that Shruti is the wife of his friend.

Virat tries to justify his actions while Ashwini and others question Shruti's importance in his life.

However, Virat retorts saying that they should believe in him as Sai will be the first one to know everything once the right time comes.

Just then, Sai says that she wants nothing to do with what happens in his life while Virat tells her that he has gathered that information through her speech.

Sonali voices her doubts about him not being there while he shows them a picture he clicked of Sai receiving the award.

Virat and Sai argue while Ninad stops them and asks Virat who Shruti is.

Mohit pleads with Virat to reveal the truth while Samrat scolds him to stop hiding the truth.

Ashwini gets emotional and says that he is ashamed of his upbringing while Virat turns to leave.

However, Samrat stops him saying that Mohit has to say something after which Mohit pleads with Virat to reveal the truth as he still has the chance.

Sai and everyone else gets shocked while Karishma asks Mohit if he wants to imply that Virat and Shruti are having an affair.

Pakhi tries to incite them, saying that Sai only thinks of the marriage as a deal while Sai surprisingly agrees with her hurting Virat's feelings once again.
