Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 1st September 2023 episode starts with Ishan asking Isha to sign the divorce papers. 

Isha looks hurt and tries to tell him about the scam Bhosales are running behind his back but Ishaan refuses to listen and tells her to sign the papers as he does not want her to be related to him or any member of his family. 

Isha feels shattered by Ishaan's hatred while Ishaan tells her to sign the papers and that he will collect them later.

Nishikant Hires A Goon For Isha

Meanwhile, Yashwant thinks about Isha’s threat of submitting her reports. 

At the same time, Surekha is furious at Isha for daring to perform Aarti with Ishaan and asks Yashwant why this woman wants to come back in their life and also blames Ishaan for not leaving right away. 

However, Yashwant tells her that Ishaan did nothing wrong as there were so many people around them and he cannot risk ruining his reputation. 

Nishikant tells Surekha that it is all Isha’s fault while Surekha tells him that this time Isha is not alone and Savi is equally responsible for this. 

She blames Savi for trying to rekindle Ishan and Isha’s relationship. 

However, Yashwant tells Surekha that they have to focus on saving the college because if Isha reports them then they will lose all the funding and their college will shut down as well. 

Yashwant scolds Nishikant for not being able to handle the situation which scares Nishi into action. 

He calls one of his goons and tells him to take care of Isha before she can send her report to the education board. 

Shikha and Ashmita Lies To Surekha

Afterwards, Surekha is looking for Ashmita and Shikha who are nowhere to be seen when they come to her from different directions.

As Surekha tells them to follow them, Shikha tells her that she has taken an oath to perform a ritual for Chinmay and asks her if she can stay and do it there. 

Surekha gets emotional on hearing Chinmay’s name and leaves her with Ashmita to do the bidding. 

Later, Ashmita praises her for her lie while Shikha tells her that it is not a lie and she really wants Chinmay to come home and sort his differences with Yashwant.

Savi Suspects Of Wrongdoing

Elsewhere, Savi questions her friend about leaving the Mandap when she has asked her to stay behind. 

On hearing that she got a call from Sheila Thomas's assistant asking her to guide the way, Savi gets suspicious as to why Sheila’s assistant would call her when she herself was coming.

Just then Shikha and Ashmita come to Savi and praise her for her wonderful management and also for making Ishaan and Isha perform Arti together.

Later, Savi calls Isha to ask her where she is but cannot reach her. 

Leaving a message on her phone, Savi takes Shikha and Ashmita to the cafe. 

Meanwhile, the goon feels angry at not being able to locate Isha. 

In the meantime, Isha is walking the corridors while thinking about Ishaan’s hurtful words and the divorce papers. 

Later, Ishaan comes to Isha's room and finds the signed divorce papers.

Isha Gets Shot

As Isha climbs down the stairs with the report, a goon shoots at her and runs away. 

Just then Ishaan comes there and is shocked to see Isha falling unconscious.

Ishaan shouts at her, telling her that he will not let anything happen to her. 

He calls her ‘Aayi (mother)’ and with tears in his eyes tells Shukla Ji to bring the car. 

Meanwhile, Savi is unaware of Isha’s condition and calls her again while Shikha and Ashmita tell her that they will have to leave as they cannot wait any longer. 

On the way, Ishaan gets blocked by a religious celebration and tries to tell them to let him pass. 

Seeing no one listening to him, he grabs the microphone and requests everyone to let him pass as there is a patient in the car. 

Later, Ishaan brings Isha to the hospital but denies all relation to her when the doctor asks him if he is related to him. 

Elsewhere, Ishaan calls Savi and tells her to come to the hospital as Isha has been shot.
