Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 20th April 2023 episode starts with Sai telling Virat that she came running to him because she cares for him and would have done the same for anyone but she does not love him.

Virat laughs at Sai’s claim and tells her that she is lying because if it had been true, she would have moved on with someone else. 

Sai thinks of Ashwini who said the same. 

Meanwhile, Virat asks her what she wants and how he can convince her that he loves her. 

Virat begins to ask people around him to help him make Sai believe that he loves her while Sai gets angry and tells him that she is leaving. 

In the meantime, Virat takes the mic and tells in front of the whole audience that she loves him a lot and that she should come back to him.

Many people in the crowd recognize him and tell them that he is behaving weirdly because he is in love.

At the same time, Sai feels awkward and embarrassed to see Virat expressing his love for her without caring about the impact on his reputation. 

Virat continues to tell her that he knows she is punishing him for one mistake in the past but he promises to never repeat it again and that he loves her with all his heart and accepts her anger and moodiness. 

He once again asks his two children's mother to return to him. 

On the other hand, an officer informs DIG sir about Virat’s public love confession which astounds DIG too, and wonders why he is putting the department's reputation at risk. 

All the audience around him begins to ask Sai to forgive Virat and accept his love. 

Dr. Satya also hears Sai’s name in passing and smiles to see Virat at the podium praising his courage. 

Virat tells Sai that until she says yes, he will not leave the place while Sai looks embarrassed and angry at Virat for putting her on the spot. 

Finally, Sai shouts at him that she will not leave Nagpur and the crowd begins to cheer for Sai while Virat asks her if she will marry him. 

Seeing no choice, Sai tells him that she will marry which makes the audience and Virat overjoyed. 

Virat hugs Sai while Bhavani and Savi smile with happiness. 

Elsewhere, Patralekha is crying when Vinayak tells her to not worry as he has told Dr. Aunty everything and she will make everything right. 

On the other hand, Virat tells Sai that she has made him very happy and tells her that he is taking her home.

However, Sai tells him that she needs time and then she will contact him herself. 

Virat agrees to give her time and asks her if he can take Savi with him because of Vinayak. 

After Virat leaves, Sai feels shattered at being brought to the point where she will have to take strong actions. 

In the meantime, Harini shows the whole family Virat’s confession which makes Ashwini miserable and others shocked. 

Just then Patralekha comes there and takes Mohit's phone, which he tries to hide from her. 

Seeing Virat hugging Sai in public is a punch to her gut while Ashwini looks ashamed at Virat’s blatant display. 

Just then, Virat comes home with Savi who announces to everyone that Virat will marry Sai soon and they will become one family. 

Patralekha who is leaving feels another mountain fall upon her.
