Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 20th August 2023 episode starts with Ishaan asking Yashwant if they are still going to remain silent after the matter has gone viral.

Yashwant and Makhrant resort to cheap tricks

Ishaan asks what answer they have when everyone would ask them if they treated a student unfairly because the offender is the son of the trustee and a rich man.

Yashwant walks away without replying to Ishaan after which he goes to meet Makhrant (the trustee) to discuss the matter about Aayush.

Makhrant says that he was wrong to trust Yashwant to handle Savi as the matter has become quite big now.

Yashwant asks Makhrant to calm down as the matter has gotten big but not out of their control which makes Makhrant curious.

Yashwant says that they need to resort to the traditional methods of the market and target the greed of human nature and threat is always reliable when nothing else works.

A goon comes to threaten Savi

Later, a goon comes into the college and searches for Savi everywhere by asking random students and one of them tells him to ask Shukla about Savi as he would know for certain.

Shukla asks the goon who he is to Savi and the goon replies that he is Savi's uncle who has come to meet her making Shukla laugh in relief.

The goon agrees with Shukla as he says that Savi cannot be reached through her phone and asks Shukla to call Savi as he needs to talk to her in private regarding something important.

Shukla asks the goon to go and wait at the old building while he sends Savi there so that they can talk in silence.

Savi talks with Navya and Kajal about the news when Shukla comes there and tells Savi that her uncle has come to visit her and is waiting at the old building.

Not knowing whom Shukla is talking about, Savi goes to the old building to see who her uncle is about whom she herself does not know.

The goon talks with someone on the phone about a murder bribe and says that he will spare two days to the target after which Savi comes and asks the goon who he is.

Savi says that she does not recognize the goon as her uncle to which the goon smiles and says that Savi has to listen to him once as he has brought the solution to her problems.

Handing an envelope to Savi, the goon says that Savi will not have to worry about selling her sister's bangles for the college fees.

Savi gets shocked to see a ton of money inside the envelope and asks the goon how he knows about the bangles.

The goon asks Savi to take back her complaint against Aayush if she wants to have that money and live happily but Savi returns the money and replies that she is not selling herself for so cheap.

Hearing that the goon gets angry and pulls out a knife along with the gun in his pocket, asking Savi to think carefully as she can die any moment without knowing how.

The goon says that he will come back the next day after which Savi returns to Kajal and Navya with a traumatized face.

Isha warns Ishaan for Savi's safety

Savi calls Isha and tells her about all the events that happened and Isha assures her that she will not let anything happen to her.

After a bit, Ishaan gets a call from Isha who tells him that she will close the entire college if anything happens to Savi leaving Ishaan angry and confused.

Ishaan says that a proper investigation is going on but gets shocked to hear about Savi getting death threats from some goon.

Hanging up the call, Ishaan comes to the college and scolds Shukla for sending Savi to meet an unknown man without even asking his name.

However, Ishaan feels relieved to spot Savi with Kajal and Navya and asks them to come with him to his cabin.

After settling in Ishaan's cabin, Ishaan asks the three girls to stay there and not come out before leaving the cabin himself for something important.

Kajal tells Savi that these rich people do not care for others' lives and now Savi is in grave danger which is terrifying.
