Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 28th February 2023 episode starts with Virat waking up outside Sai’s door wrapped in her saree. 

Seeing the saree in pieces, Virat gets worried and goes to check on Sai and Savi. 

Virat puts the saree back in its place in a hurry to save himself from Sai’s wrath. 

Meanwhile, Sai gets alert on hearing the noise outside and is shocked to see her saree torn to pieces.

At the breakfast table, Ashwini tells Patralekha to eat something herself. 

Meanwhile, Bhavani tells Virat that she has brought the carom board for the kids and he should take time to play it with the kids.

However, Patralekha taunts Virat about guarding Sai’s door while Virat looks angry and tells her not to take the matter lightly. 

Patralekha argues with him and accuses him of being cheap for spending the night guarding a woman’s door wrapped in her saree. 

Patralekha’s accusation makes Virat furious and tells her that he was only there to keep Sai safe. 

Just then, a tracker watch is delivered for Virat Virat tells everyone that he bought it for Savi. 

Ninad looks curious and asks Virat what is going on. 

Virat tells him about Sai’s encounter with Ajay Kamble and that, he is a threat to Sai and Savi’s safety them. 

Patralekha sarcastically questions Virat about Sai putting them in the danger zone when Virat reminds her that being the DCP, his family is always in danger as he has many enemies. 

After a while, Sai takes Savi to school when Virat meets her outside and gives Savi the tracker watch. 

Virat offers to drop Savi and Sai while Sai argues about the logistic of taking a lift with Virat whose office is in opposite direction. 

However, Savi tells Sai not to argue with Virat and take the lift. 

After dropping Savi at school, Virat tells Sai about the measures he has taken for Savi’s safety. 

He also tells her not to take it the wrong way as he will do everything to keep his daughter safe. 

Sai questions his motive for dropping her at the hospital while Virat tells her that he is going that way only. 

Later, Virat dozes off while driving and would have hit the schoolchildren if Sai didn't stop him in time. 

Sai scolds him for reckless driving while Virat blames her for making him guard her door by challenging Ajay Kamble.

Sai tells him not to let his fear rule him for he cannot guard her all the time. 

Meanwhile, Virat tells her that he will do everything he can to keep her and his daughter safe. 

Sai tells him that she is here for a short time and is capable of taking care of herself and her daughter. 

After a while, Sai questions him about tearing her saree apart but Virat tells her that he has only wrapped it around himself but in the morning he found it in pieces. 

He offers to buy her a new one while Sai tells him to not worry. 

Sai also tells him to change places as she will drive now for she cannot risk anything happening to him. 

Meanwhile, Patralekha feels dizzy while climbing the stairs when Ashwini spots her and comes to help her. 

On being cautioned to look after herself, Patralekha complains to her about Virat who has brought her nemesis into the house and is guarding her door in the dead of the night. 

Ashwini tells her that she understands her pain as she has also suffered the same situation in the past. 

Patralekha cries about her son being in trauma and Virat being consumed by Sai’s thoughts.
