Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 5th July 2022 episode starts with Sai being surprised to hear about the forms and tells them that all the formalities have been done before hand and there is nothing more to be signed afterwards. 

Sai tells them that someone is trying to change their mind against surrogacy.

Yogesh tells Sai that he still has many questions to which Sai tells him to come to the hospital and ask the doctor himself. 

Meanwhile, Virat arrives at Geeta’s house but misses Sai. 

Later Sai calls Virat to tell him to get started with the preparations as she is on the way. 

Virat tries to explain to Sai that with little time left for the procedure, they have used Patralekha’s womb but Sai loses connection and could not hear Virat. 

At the hospital, Patralekha comes out after the procedure while Bhavani asks about her health. 

The doctor realises that Partalekha and not Geeta has undergone the procedure and gets angry at Bhavani and assures them of filing a complaint against them for changing the surrogate at the last moment. 

Later, Sai arrives at the Hospital asking for Virat and introducing Geeta to Bhavan when Bhavani tells her that there is no need for Geeta anymore.

Sai gets the shock of her life after hearing Patralekha has undergone the procedure.  

Just then Virat comes in and Sai asks him what is Bhavani talking about. 

Bhavani tells Sai that as neither Geeta nor she was present and time was escaping them they had taken a decision to use Patralekha’s womb.

Virat tells Sai that it was not his decision but the circumstance forced him to go with the flow. 

Virat tells Sai that when he could not reach her and there was little time for their last chance to parents of their own child he felt helpless. 

Bhavani tells Sai that even if Virat has objected then too she would have gone with the procedure. 

Bhavani tells Sai that Patralekha has been preparing herself for the procedure which makes Sai suspicious as she had refused Patralekha. 

Sai tells Bhavani that Geeta was not here because some woman has gone to their house and gave them the wrong information about the procedure to keep them from coming to the hospital.

Bhavani calls Geeta a liar while Yogesh tells them that they are indebted to Sai and Geeta herself has offered to be a surrogate to Sai.

Sai wonders if it is Patralekha has misguided Geeta and asks Virat to introspect. 

Meanwhile, Bhavani goes to Patralekha’s room and talks of Geeta’s wild talk about wrong information.

Patralekha gets worried about being exposed and calls Geeta to her room to stop her from testifying.
