Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 5th July 2023 episode starts with Savi and her team taking seats in the auditorium while the host introduces colleges and participants of the team. 

After a while, he introduces the judges of the debate and introduces Ishaan as the guest of honor as well as the dean of students. 

Isha looks surprised to hear Ishaan’s name and looks at Ishaan with guilt filled eyes as he walks inside. 

Meanwhile, Savi looks shocked to see Ishaan as the judge as well as the Dean of Bhonsle Institute. 

After a while, the host invites all the team members on the stage to begin the debate and tells the audience that the topic of the debate is impromptu to check the everyday knowledge of the participants. 

Meanwhile, Ishaan spots Savi among the participants as she takes her place on the stage.

Savi’s heart beats at double speed seeing Ishaan as the judge and she regrets meeting him earlier.  

The host announces the topic for debate to be "Are Men and Women the same or different?"

The first team takes for stance and tries to prove that Men and Women are different.

Savi’s teammate is disappointed saying that they should have gone for the opposite motion while Savi tells her that there is no right and wrong side in a debate but it is the debater's job to convince the audience what they are saying is right. 

Savi is feeling nervous seeing Ishaan on the panel and allows her teammate to speak. 

After a while, Savi overcomes her nervousness and manipulates her opponent into speaking against their motion. 

After a while, Savi is in full form and has beautifully proven her point that men and women are the same despite their physical and chemical differences. 

Afterwards, the hosts ask the judges to give marks and Ishaan only gives 5 marks out of ten to Savi.

Later, the host announces a break and tells everyone to gather again for the final round. 

After a while, Savi comes looking for Isha and asks her how was her debate while Isha hugs her assuring her that she will win the scholarship.   

Ishaan feels shocked to see Isha showering her blessings on Savi and staggers back. 

Meanwhile, Savi is unaware of Ishaan's turmoil and tells Isha that she is going out for a minute. 

After Savi leaves, Isha turns around and sees Ishaan watching them with complaining eyes. 

Isha and Ishaan recall the painful past and the fateful day when Isha left the house but was not allowed to take Ishaan with her. 

Coming out of her reverie, Isha tries to move towards Ishaan but he turns his back on her leaving Isha longing.

Meanwhile, Savi comes to the Chavan house, reliving all the memories that are associated with it. 

She finds the folded newspaper with Virat and Sai’s death printed on it. 

Savi travels back to the day when she witnessed the plane blast with Savi and Virat burning inside it. 

Savi can see Virat and Sai at every corner of the house and her illusions fill her with pain. 

Just then, a guard's voice brings Savi out of her memory lane while the guard rudely tells her to leave. 

Savi gets angry and tells him to talk politely as this house was once her father's.

She also warns him that very soon she will come back to have it and he will be the one saluting her.

Savi looks at the house and promises Sai and Virat that she will definitely become a collector and buy this house back. 

She promises to bring back everyone to this house and they all will live there again.
