Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 5th March 2023 episode starts with Savi telling Sai that there is a saree in the packet which she bought when she was with Aaji. 

Sai becomes suspicious and asks Savi if Virat has bought it instead of her. 

Realising that both of them will continue to lie, Sai lais a trap for them and soon, Savi gives in telling Virat that he should have brought a suit instead of a saree. 

Virat palms his face while Savi tells Sai to make up with Virat because Virat is trying so hard to get back. 

Just then, Virat’s friend, Sunny, interrupts them, telling Savi that Sai is behaving like Khadoos Jasoos.

Looking surprised, Virat is happy to see him after a long time. 

However, Sunny does not know about Sai and Virat’s separation and continues to talk thinking about them as a couple.

Virat feels sad at the continuous reminder of what could be and cannot be. 

Just then, Sai tells Sunny that they are not together anymore. 

Sunny is shocked to hear the news and asks about Patralekha. 

Sai tells him that Patralekha is Virat's wife now. 

Virat tells Sunny to come home in a day or two and they will talk. 

Meanwhile, Patralekha is thinking about Sai, Savi, and Virat enjoying themselves together and sheds tears.

Just then, Vinayak comes there and tells Patralekha that he does not like tears in her eyes. 

Patralekha tells him that she is shedding tears due to the onion while Vinayak presents Patralekha with a gift for Holi. 

Patralekha becomes happy to see the gift and tells Vinayak to sit in the dining room and she will bring Pizza for him. 

Meanwhile, Virat tells Sai to not get upset at Sunny as he is not aware of their situation.

Thinking about the past, Virat reminds Sai that Sunny used to play cupid every time they fought in the past.

However, Sai sadly tells Virat that there is no point in talking about the past as nothing is the same between them now. 

She also tells him that they will never be together ever, not even God can bring them together. 

Virat asks Sai how he can prove to her that he never loved anyone else ever and that his heart only ever beat for her. 

He also asks her what should he do to prove to her that he can die to be with her and without her by his side, he feels that there is no future. 

Sai and Virat get lost in each other’s eyes when Sai jolts him saying that it is not her hand but Savi's hand that needs his attention.

Virat comes out of his reverie and recalls his promise to Pakhi that he cannot ever leave her.
