Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 7th May 2023 episode starts with Sai getting up to leave when Vinayak holds her finger, telling her to not leave. 

Later as she is leaving, Ashwini meets her and asks her how she is.

She tells her that she thought that with her marriage, Patralekha and Virat’s relationship will get better but she was wrong. 

Ashwini expresses her sadness telling her that she is not able to understand what is right or wrong anymore but only prays for Patralekha to return home soon. 

Meanwhile, Savi calls for Virat in her sleep and Satya goes to comfort her and falls asleep while lying beside her. 

Later, Sai finds the divorce papers scattered on the floor and reaches Virat’s room collecting them where she sees him eating cotton candy and crying.

Sai wants to stop him from feeling sad and upset and gives him a hug to tell him that she cannot see him in this condition. 

However, she does no such thing and leaves from there with tears in her eyes. 

Just then, Virat realises her presence and comes after her telling her to never come back to this house ever again as she is married to someone else. 

Sai tells him that she understands that he is hurting at the moment but Vinayak is equally 

However, Virat denies being in pain and tells her that she has no right to care for him anymore. 

On being told that he can take care of his son on his own, Sai tells him that a father often forgets the welfare of his child in his anger.

However,  a mother always puts her children first despite all the insults and pain inflicted on her. 

Virat tells her that she knows nothing about relationships because all she knows is running away just as she left several years ago and now again. 

However, Sai tells him that she does not need to justify her actions to anyone and warns him to not come between her and her children or she will forget that he is their father. 

Later, Sai returns home at dawn time which Amba notices and worries. 

Meanwhile, Sai finds Satya fast asleep beside Savi and smiles seeing them together. 

Just then, Satya wakes up and asks about Vinayak. 

After a while, Sai tells Satya that Patralekha has signed the divorce paper before leaving and asks Satya why did she not think of Vinayak. 

Satya tells her that it is possible that the burden of her relationship has gotten too heavy to bear and that is why she might have left. 

The next day, Sai sends a lost and found advertisement in the newspaper asking Patralekha to come back home and reminding her of Vinayak's birthday. 

Satya asks her if she has discussed this with Virat but Sai tells him that Virat is in no state to discuss anything. 

Later, Sai is preparing breakfast in the kitchen when Amba comes there and taunts her for being unpredictable. 

Sai tells her that she understands her anger as a mother but she is not trying to pretend to be responsible.

She says that she is really concerned about the family and her responsibility towards it. 

Sai also tells her that if she ever hurt her, then she will apologise to her. 

Later, Satya tells Sai that Amba is not happy with her going away the other night and requests her to make sure not to make Amba hurt time and again because of the Chavan's. 

Sai tells him to not worry as she will keep this in mind and will try not to hurt her as she cannot ignore that he is being so supportive of her and she must do the same for him. 

She also tells him that she had talked to Amba and she looked a bit appeased. 

As they are about to leave, Sai recalls about Savi’s parents meeting at school.
