Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 8th October 2023 episode starts with Ishaan recalling all the things he has done wrong to Savi and shaming himself for being angry at Savi despite his fault. 

After a while, he thinks of something and comes to the college office to ask about Savi’s local address. 

Meanwhile, Yashwant tells Shantanu that he must be feeling happy that Ishaan ignored his presence and stood for Savi. 

He shouts at Shantanu at Ishaan openly announcing Durba’s cheating and ruining the family’s reputation. 

However, Shantanu tells him that he is being a hypocrite because they did not think once when they were doing the same to Savi. 

Shantanu tells him that what Ishaan did today made him realise that he has not completely lost his way and still has his principles inside him.

However, Yashwant tells him that what Ishaan did today will cause a rift in the family just like he caused when he went to live with Isha without caring for them. 

On the other hand, Harini tells Savi that she should think about her decision to go back to Ramtec. 

However, Savi tells her that she has thought this through and has only come to inform her. 

Just then, Kiran comes there, questioning her presence in his house while Savi tells him that she is here to meet Harini. 

She also reminds him that she still has his video with him which makes Kiran angry.

However, before he can act on his anger, Ishaan arrives and warns him off Savi or he will break his hands. 

Savi comes in between and asks him if he trying to lessen his guilt by taking it out on Kiran. 

Meanwhile, Ishaan tells him that it is not the case but he is here to rectify his mistake and teach Kiran a lesson. 

He also tells him that he has come to convince her not to go back to Ramtech as she is an exceptionally bright student and he would not want to lose her. 

Savi does not look impressed and tells him that he should not lie to himself and that he always stands for the right things because she has witnessed him siding with the wrong all the time. 

On the other hand, Nishikant asks Durba to give her phone and credit cards as she is grounded from today. 

Surekha and others come to the room, asking Nishikant about the matter leading him to tell them that because of Durba, Ishaan took Savi’s rustication back and punished her in front of the whole assembly. 

He shames Durba for making him a laughingstock in the college and tells Surekha that he will not give her another chance to insult him. 

Meanwhile, Ashmita tells Nishikant that Ishaan did the right thing by making them retake the exam after Durba’s cheating. 

However, Surekha tells her to be quiet and that she will talk to Ishaan once he returns. 

On the other hand, Shantanu comes home to tell Isha the good news about what Ishaan did for Savi and how he praised her in front of the college. 

Savi who has just arrived do not look too happy and tells Isha that she will not be able to study in Bhosale Institute after all the insult she had to suffer. 

She also complains to Isha that Ishaan has not apologised to her for what he has done to her. 

Just then, Ishaan also comes there and tries to convince Savi not to leave college and that she should not throw away her career.

However, Ishaan’s tone carries order instead of remorse and rubs Savi the wrong way. 

Meanwhile, Isha and Shantanu realise Ishaan’s struggle and change of heart and enjoy his discomfort.
