Today's Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein 9th April 2023 episode starts with Virat telling Sai that he wants to marry her while a bullet breaks the glass of a car, alerting Virat and he shoots the man standing in front of him. 

He takes Sai to a secluded place and continues to speak saying that he realises now that he should not have allowed her to leave. 

He should have told her at Kankauli when he met her for the first time.

Holding her hands, he tells her how incomplete he is without her and feels awry when he is away from her but when she is near then it seems that a new life is blown into him.  

Meanwhile, Patralekha listens to Virat confessing his feelings and feels a life being squeezed from her.

Virat tells Sai that he realized too late that she is his most important duty and he loves her a lot and wants to put her and their children first. 

Just then, an officer comes to tell him that there are more men and they are desperate to get Datta Kolte back. 

Virat radios for backup and tells Sai to stay there as it is the safest place and think about what he said. 

Giving her 24 hours, he tells her that he will convince Vinayak and Pakhi both. 

Meanwhile, Patralekha drops the phone hearing Virat tell Sai that she should think from her heart. 

She walks in a trance as if she is lifeless and walks around the home lifelessly while everyone around her celebrates Virat’s success. 

After a while, Patralekha cannot handle the stress anymore and falls unconscious. 

Later, Dr. Satya tells Sai that her Virat is a real-life hero who defeated such dangerous criminals. 

Meanwhile, Sai chides him for calling Virat hers while Satya mocks her for looking all red and angry and offers to click her photo to show her. 

Just then, Virat joins them and asks Satya to click their picture together while Sai looks at him irritatedly. 

Virat looks jubilant and cheerful and tells her that this is their first photo together.

Meanwhile, Sai tells him that she has not said yes yet but Virat tells her that he has read his feeling mirrored on her face. 

Just then, he gets called away and tells Sai that he will talk with her later. 

Afterward, Sai looks at their photo together and thinks that Virat did not give her a chance to express her feelings to him. 

Just then, Amba calls Sai to talk to her about marrying Satya but Satya takes the phone from her and gets angry for harassing his colleague. 

Elsewhere, the Chavan family waits outside Patralekha’s room while the doctor examines her. 

Sai comes there while Savi tells her to check on Patralekha as she is Vinayak’s guardian angel and can make Patralekha alright again. 

On the other hand, Satya’s family brings Satya to meet a girl by lying to him about some patients. 

After a while, Satya discovers that he has been fooled and gets irritated but Amba tells him to behave as he will have to get married either by a girl of their choice or by a girl of his choice. 

Later, Sai comes to see Patralekha with Ashwini and Savi while Patralekha asks her if she can talk to her. 

Seeing Patralekha sad, Sai tells Patralekha that Virat is absolutely alright while Patralekha tells her that he is more than alright. 

Expressionlessly Patralekha says that Virat is very happy and jubilant that no one has seen him in years but she wants to know how she feels. 

Sai looks puzzled at Patralekha’s questions while Patralekha asks her again how is she feeling standing in her place.
