Today's Imlie 28th April 2023 episode starts with Imlie declining Rudra’s proposal to marry Dhairya.

Imlie storms away, telling Rudra that she cannot imagine spending the rest of her life with anyone else since she promised Atharva that she will spend it with Atharva, and that she will raise the baby with Atharva's memories.

Imlie begins wandering down the corridor, reminiscing all of her wonderful times with Atharva as tears stream down her cheeks.

She clutches Atharva's locket and mutters about God being cruel and stealing the love of her life, adding that no one on this earth can take away the memories she cherished with Atharva.

However, the necklace she is carrying slips and gets trapped, and Imlie becomes anxious and rushes towards the stairs.

Meanwhile, Devika, Shivani, and Ripu tell Imlie not to rush up the stairs, but Imlie ignores them.

While the labor pains begin, she sits on the stairs and reaches for the locket.

She yells, and upon hearing this, Rudra and Dhairya both offer to assist her, but Imlie refuses and takes the locket back.

However this time her suffering becomes unbearable, and she begins screaming, leading Dhairya to pick her up and admit her to the hospital.

Imlie is in labor and is about to give birth when she becomes fatigued and swears she can't do it any longer. 

In the meantime, she imagines Atharva comforting and consoling her, believing he is close beside her.

Imlie wakes up and begins pushing again, and as the entire Rana family waits outside the chamber.

The doctor arrives and informs them that there are numerous complications with Imlie's delivery and that she can only save Imlie or the Baby.

Rudra informs to save Imlie, and Devika begins mocking Rudra for saving Imlie's life while she is the reason Atharva is no longer present.

Rudra instructs Devika to think calmly and refrain from making disparaging remarks about Imlie at least this time, and rushes to the goddess sculpture to pray for the salvation of both lives.

Meanwhile, Imlie's face appears flushed from the pushing, and she passes out.

When she awakens the next morning, everyone is standing directly next to her.

With a smile on her face, she inquires of Devika about the health of her child, to which everyone remains expressionless.

Imlie becomes perplexed when she receives no reaction, and when she looks at the cradle and cannot see her baby, she becomes frightened, wondering where her baby is.

As the doctor arrives, she informs Imlie that the baby was born out of breath, to which Imlie vehemently denies and claims to have heard the baby's cry last night.

The doctor advises Imlie that she may have been hallucinating, to which Imlie denies it and begins crying uncontrollably.

Later, Imlie has a dream about her and Atharva waking up in the morning as their child is playing hide and seek around them.

She grins and loves the moment, but in the nick of time, she wakes up and finds it was all a dream, and she doesn't have Atharva or the baby with her.
