Imlie (Imli) 22nd October 2023 Written Update

Today's Imlie 22nd October 2023 episode starts with Imlie telling Agastya that she is a free bird and will do as she likes. 

Meanwhile, Agastya tells her that he cannot allow her to ruin the family's reputation by loitering on the streets in the middle of the night. 

He also tells her that for the next six months, she will abide by all the rituals and traditions of this family.

Agastya adds that they will go and meet her family tomorrow as Annapurna wants to meet them but he can imagine what her family will be like. 

The next morning, Imlie’s Mami and Bulbul are about to leave when their neighbour comes, asking for Imlie. 

They get angry and tell them that they have no relation with her and Bulbul even goes and writes it on the wall. 

Just then, a white luxury car stops there and has all the people drooling over it while Bulbul stands mesmerised to see Agastya climb out of it. 

However, she is shocked to see Imlie come out as well while Mami goes ballistic, trying to make Agastya comfortable. 

After a while, Agastya sternly tells her that he is not here to sit and has only come to invite them so they can meet his grandmother.

Mami and Bulbul get angry, telling Agastya that he may be rich but they are the queen of this house and they will not tolerate the insult. 

However, they change their tune as soon as Agastya throws money at them and tells them that this marriage is only for a few months and they will have to come and play their part as Imlie’s rich family. 

Later, Agastya taunts Imlie so that he can see where she gets her greed for money and how they dance to its tune. 

Imlie remains quiet, feeling embarrassed at Mami and Bulbul’s behaviour. 

Just as they are about to leave, Titu comes there and Imlie hugs him tightly. 

Titu thanks Agaastya for making his dream of seeing Imlie married come true.

He goes on to tell Agastya what a great daughter Imlie is and how she has been taking care of them ever since. 

Titu also offers 51 rupees as a Shagun (gift), telling him that for him marriage is for life and he is his son-in-law. 

Agastya feels emotional and assures him that as long as imlie with him, she will be safe.

He also invites him to the house and requests him to come in nice clothes while Titu tells him not to worry as they will come dressed like heroes. 

On the other hand, Annapurna is busy preparing for the veneration along with all the family members. 

After a while, all the Chaudhery family is gathered at the door to welcome Imlie’s family while Agastya confirms with Jugnu if he has made all the arrangements as per the requirement. 

Soon the trio comes out of the car shining in new dresses while Imlie introduce them to the family. 

Sonali asks them to give their full name while Titu introduces them as Tulsidas Sharifchand. 

Later, Sonali watches Imlie’s family like a hawk while Imlie prays that they do not commit any faux pass to put all this drama in jeopardy.
