Indian Idol 13 15th October 2023 Written Update

Today's episode starts with the auditions of the new season of Indian Idol with new judges and new contestants.

A contestant named Mahima Bhattacharjee comes from Kolkata and impresses the judges with her vocal talent as she sings a classical piece both in Hindi and Bengali.

Mahima's father shares his health condition with the judges where he is turning blind slowly due to damage in the optical nerve which makes the judges sympathetic toward her.

Mahima gets the golden ticket from the judges after she sings two lines for her father.

The next participant, Rohan Biswa sings the song "Kaise Hua" from Kabir Singh in front of the judges.

Rohan connects the judges with the children whom they treat in their hospital after which Shreya Ghosal announces that Rohan has been selected for his singing talent.

Several auditions take place with wonderful performances by the auditionees where a girl named Sania gets rejected even if Vishal approves her.

The next contestant named SuSwaram from Andhra Pradesh sings the song "Saathiya" which impresses the judges with his singing.

Anirudh Suswaram tells the judges about S. P Subramaniam being his mentor which shocks them and they give him the golden ticket for the next round.

A boy named Piyush Pawar comes to the stage to give his audition and explains how some family disputes have made him separate from his grandmother who was his first singing teacher.

He sings the song "Ehsaan Tumhara" and impresses the judges with his melodious vocals.

Kumar Sanu sings the song "Jab Koyi Baat Bigaad Jaye" for Piyush and his grandmother after which he gets the golden ticket.

The next contestant comes named Abhishek Jena and sings the song "Tere Hawale Kar Diya" in his melodious voice which enchants the judges.

The judges tell Abhishek that his voice has a certain attractive trait and give him the golden ticket to the next level.

Several contestants come who sing Kumar Sanu's songs to impress him as his fanboys but mess up the rhythm and tune.

A man shocks the judges with his exact replication of Kumar Sanu's singing style after which Kumar Sanu sings a duet with him.

Hussain reveals that there will be a fourth judge in the theatre round of Indian Idol 14.
