Indian Idol 14 22nd October 2023 Written Update

Today's episode starts with the theatre round of the new season of Indian Idol with the judges welcoming the new contestant on stage.

Maithili Som comes first to perform her song and sings the song "Hungama Ho Gaya" which shocks the judges due to her golden vocals.

Kavita Krishnamurthy sings the song "Chupke Se" with Maithili after which she gets the golden mic and gets selected in the Top 15.

Dipan Mitra comes from Kolkata and sings the iconic soundtrack "Mitwa" from Kal Ho Na Ho which successfully enchants the judges due to his powerful vocals.

His performance gets a lit from the audience but the judges tell him to wait for the results after completing all the performances.

Piyush Pawar from Delhi comes next to give his performance in the hope that his grandmother will talk again with him and sing the song "O Saiyaan".

Kumar Sanu makes Piyush hear a message from his grandmother which leaves him emotional after which the judges decide to let him know the result later.

Next comes Anjana Padmanabhan from Mumbai who has been the winner of the previous Indian Idol Junior season and sings the song "Humma Humma".

Anjana gets the golden mic from the judges and becomes the fourth confirmed contestant selected in the Top 15.

Surender Kumar comes for his performance and shocks the judges with his powerful vocals as he sings the song "Thare Bina Lage Nahi Mara Jiya Re".

The audience scores him with a lit performance and the judges give him the golden mic which makes him the fifth confirmed contestant of the Top 15.

A few performances take place but the audience does not give them a lit reaction after which the judges tell them to wait for the results.

Obrohm and Karnoy come together and Obrohm sings first the song "Bol Do Na Zara".

After a duet performance, Karnoy gives his performance where he sings the song "Mohabbat Ki Kasam".

The judges tell Karnoy that he needs more practice for his vocals to improve and ask both of them to wait for the results.

Mahima performs with her father in the audience and impresses the judges with her vocals but the judges ask her to wait for the final results.

Utkarsh Wankhede comes and sings the song "Muskurahat Ko Aane De" which earns him a spot in the Top 15 and the judges give him the golden mic.

With the final selection of the Top 15 contestants, the judges make difficult decisions and finish the theatre round.
