Today's episode starts with the Grand Premiere of the show and the contestants performing their debut performances on the stage with many singers and judges present.

Subhadeep Das Chowdhury comes from Kolkata and sings the energetic tune "Dil Se" which amazes the judges with his powerful vocals and melodious additions.

His performance gets a standing ovation from the judges and Arshad Warsi compliments him for his wonderful singing.

Shreya Ghosal tells Subhadeep that he has the talent to win over hearts with his voice and wishes him the best of luck for his journey in Indian Idol.

Hussain calls Ananya Pal but is surprised to see all the contestants gone from their seats after which Ananya enters the stage with all the contestants coming with her.

She shares how everyone has given her love and support as she does not have the normal condition with her family after which she starts her performance, singing the song "Pyaar Karne Waale".

Shreya sings the song with Richa Sharma and Vishal Dadlani and enlightens the whole arena with screams and cheers.

Hussain calls the winner of the first season of Indian Idol, Abhijeet Sawant who joins him in hosting the show.

Utkarsh Wankhede comes to perform from Nagpur, Maharashtra and sings the song "Jab Tak Jahan Mein" which mesmerizes the judges and audience with the melodious flow of the song.

The judges give Utkarsh a standing ovation for his performance and give him a lit performance.

Sreerama and Shreya Ghosal sing the hit song "Balma" with everyone dancing on the stage and enjoying themselves.

Maithili Shaw comes to perform next and sings the song "Dum Maaro Dum" which shocks the judges as they experience the immaculate vocal range of Maithili.

Menuka comes to perform next and sings a classic devotional song named "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" which enchants the judges.

Richa Sharma and Menuka sing the song "Mere Maula Karam O Karam" which gives goosebumps to everyone the emotional vocals.

Surender comes to perform and sings the song "Jhum Barabar Jhum" which sets the energetic mood of the audience, making them dance along with the song.

Abhijeet brings the auto drivers from Mumbai who congratulate Surender on his selection and cheer for him becoming the winner of the show.

Utkarsh and Abhijeet sing the song that Abhijeet recorded first after winning the Indian Idol which entertains the audience and judges.

All the contestants join Shoaib and Sreeram to dance on the stage and do the hook step of Jhalak Dikh Laja.
