Today's Kabhi Kabhi Ittefaq Sey 21st May 2022 episode starts with Anubhav holding Gungun’s hand and asking her to not leave for the US.

Gungun is afraid of Ranvijay; she says that she may be able to handle Maya but Ranvijay will make her life hell.

Anubhav tells Gungun that she doesn’t need to fear Ranvijay as she is his responsibility now. Gungun asks Anubhav to put vermilion on her head before Ranvijay and Maya arrive.

Maya calls the doctor to ask about Gungun but she requests the doctor to stop Maya and Ranvijay from coming before Anubhav puts vermilion on her head.

Ranvijay is standing restless with a small container of vermilion in his hand as Maya wants to get them married in the hospital itself.

Chanchal, Akriti, Yug, and Ankit rush to the hospital. Akriti keeps calling Anubhav to make sure he is not with Gungun but Anubhav keeps cutting her call.

Maya taunts Chanchal that Anubhav isn’t in the hospital and they should go find him instead of caring about Gungun’s matters.

She also tells them that Gungun will become Ranvijay’s wife very soon, so now they don’t have to worry about her.

Anubhav quickly puts the vermilion on Gungun’s head and is asked to leave by the doctor immediately.

Neither Gungun nor Anubhav wants to leave each other’s side, Anubhav promises Gungun to be back soon and leaves.

Ranvijay stops Anubhav and blames him for Gungun’s suicide. He asks him how dare he touch his wife to which Anubhav reminds him that he is not married to Gungun yet.

After hearing from the doctor that Gungun has to stay for a few more days in the hospital to get some tests done, Maya asks Ranvijay to marry her today itself at any cost.

Everyone rushes to Gungun’s room to visit her. Ranvijay tries to fake his care towards Gungun to which Gungun warns him to not touch her.

Ranvijay is shocked to see vermilion on Gungun’s head but later claims it is of his name.

Maya then asks Ranvijay to officially put vermilion in Gungun’s head and get done with the marriage.
