Today's Katha Ankahee 13th April 2023 episode starts with Katha telling Tejji that whatever she is saying is sounding like allegations.

Katha stares angrily at Tejji while Tejji explains that she knows Katha has created a world around Aarav.

Tejji further explains that Katha may not want it but Viaan wants to enter Katha’s world since he has developed a liking for Katha, yet Katha refuses to accept this.

Katha finally declares that she came to Tejji’s house only because she was unable to refuse the offer to help in the Sikh path.

Tejji states that a family depends on a woman’s decision whereas a man likes whatever he wants without any worry while Katha turns away to leave.

Meanwhile, Viaan is watching the heated argument between Katha and Tejji from afar with confusion written on his face so when Katha passes him, their eyes meet briefly, and he stares at her with questioning eyes.

Viaan stares at Katha’s back as she is walking away from him but as Katha is about to step foot out of the mansion, Kailash calls her name.

Kailash offers to drop her at home but Katha refuses the offer very politely, yet Kailash urges Katha to take the ride as he can spend some time with her this way.

Looking at Kailash’s puppy eyes, Katha agrees to go but she keeps staring out of the window during the whole ride while Kailash is unable to figure out how to talk about Viaan.

He keeps bringing up Viaan’s name but he gets nervous each time because Katha looks at him with questioning eyes.

Once they reach Katha’s apartment building, Katha urges Kailash to come inside for some tea while Kailash explains to her how everyone in the house is helping each other since Yohan has come.

Kailash goes on to say that when people get older, they stop asking for help from family members so Katha should try to approach the family first if she faces any trouble.

Further, he expresses that he was never able to become Katha’s father-in-law, and even now, he does not know how to be a father to her so he does not say what comes to his mind.

As Kailash stops talking, Katha gives him a hug to assure him that he is indeed a father figure to her.

Afterward, Katha lies down on her couch while Viaan and Tejji’s words keep echoing in her mind and she puts a pillow over her head to shut down the voices.

She sits up feeling disturbed with tears stinging her eyes.

On the other hand, Tejji tells Viaan that she was trying to make Katha understand that she and Viaan cannot be together when Viaan reveals that he saw Tejji and Katha arguing.

Viaan listens quietly without saying anything.

As Tejji explains that single mothers have so many responsibilities, Katha will only be symbolically busy with Aarav.

Viaan then walks out of Tejji’s room and he gets a call from Katha who asks Viaan if he can meet her before the office as she needs to clear some things.

Meanwhile, Kavita nags Kailash to know what is bothering him since Kailash has a distressed look on his face and Kailash states that he just worries that people will use Katha as she is very caring.

Later, Katha meets Viaan in the park and she politely rejects Viaan’s love proposal saying that she has gotten enough love from Aditya.

She says that she does not need anyone while Viaan stares at Katha with his heart breaking into pieces.
