Today's Katha Ankahee 14th April 2023 episode starts with Katha telling Viaan that it will be better if Viaan too forgets about this, otherwise, their families will suffer.

She explains to Viaan that she knows there is no perfect time to fall in love with anyone and that there is no switch button for people, yet Viaan needs to forget her.

As Katha starts walking away, Viaan just watches her with a soft smile on his face while his heart breaks silently.

Viaan turns away from Katha to hide his tears that are threatening to stream down and after some time, he too walks away in a different direction. 

Afterward, in-home, Ehsan laughingly tells Viaan that he told Viaan to take things slow, instead, Viaan went to propose to Katha so fast.

Ehsan suddenly gets up from the bed, finding the lost look on Viaan’s face and he pleads with Viaan not to wait for Katha any longer.

He asks Viaan when Viaan knew that he has fallen in love with Katha and Viaan gets lost in memory lane, as he recalls his encounters with Katha, while his poetry about Katha plays in the background.

Viaan explains to Ehsan that it was not sudden as he gradually fall in love with Katha.

With a soft smile, Ehsan also accepts that Katha has indeed changed Viaan as Viaan smiles more often now and always shares his feelings with others.

He questions Viaan about how long he is planning to wait for Katha to which Viaan replies that if Rabb (God) wants, his love for Katha will be granted.

Viaan also explains that he can not force Katha to love him, all he can do is just wait patiently while Ehsan excitedly claims that it does not look like Viaan is falling in love for the first time since Viaan knows everything about love.

The next day, after the karate practice, Viaan reveals to Aarav that his friend has rejected his love, causing Aarav to stare at Viaan in shock.

Aarav yells that Viaan should take him to meet the girl so he can knock some sense into the girl.

He further gives an example of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as Virat must have dated many girls before he finally found his soulmate in Anuksha so Robin will surely find a soulmate for him too.

Viaan ruffles Aarav’s hair as Aarav’s logic makes him smile but he orders Aarav not to worry as he does not want to find any other girl.

Later, Aarav is just staring out of the window without touching his food so Katha asks him if he is okay or not.

Aarav reveals to Katha that Robin AKA Viaan has fallen in love with a girl.

He informs Katha that the girl Robin loves is a single mother so she rejected his love proposal while Katha tries to make Aarav understand that a single mother may have her reasons.

She explains to Aarav that just like he does not want to give anyone his father's position, similarly the girl does not want any other man in her life when Aarav questions Katha why cannot Robin and the girl just be together.

Afterward, when Katha arrives in the office, Viaan enters her cabin to let her know that he cannot move on from her at all.

He also adds that he does not want to possess the firefly, instead, he wants to spend his life under the light of the firefly.
