Today's Katha Ankahee 17th April 2023 episode starts with Viaan saying that he has seen a light so he has chosen this path.

As Viaan starts walking away, Katha stands up from her seat, asking him if he has discussed this with Tejji since he is Tejji’s only son.

Katha explains that Tejji has dreams for Viaan’s marriage so even if she wants, she cannot go down the same path as Viaan while Viaan turns around to stare at Katha.

Viaan reveals that Tejji is his mother so she will indeed be happy to let Viaan marry someone he loves and that love always gives the strength to fight all the odds.

He also goes on to say that he is willing to fight for his love as he wants both his mom and Katha to be with him.

Katha simply tells Viaan that she cannot control Viaan’s feelings yet she is advising him to not wait for her anymore.

Viaan replies that if Rabb (God) wishes Katha will indeed come into his life and that love always gives people strength.

Saying this, Viaan walks out of Katha’s office cabin while Katha just sits in her chair with Viaan’s words running through her mind.

Afterward, Viaan is working in his cabin when Tejji walks in, stating that she is there to sign some documents.

He tells Tejji that he is glad that she is here since he also needs to talk to her about something while Tejji just looks at Viaan with suspicion.

Viaan explains that he has already proposed to Katha and that Katha has rejected him causing Tejji to feel relieved.

He also makes it clear that he is ready to wait for Katha as long as it takes while Tejji keeps reminding Viaan that he is young and that Katha has many responsibilities.

She tries to make Viaan understand that he is young, she will find another girl for him but Viaan announces that it is his first love, so he does not want to move on from her.

Putting his hand on his chest, Viaan explains that Katha is the first girl for whom his heart is beating so he cannot let it go and Tejji walks away from there angrily.

Meanwhile, Katha videocalls Neerja who advises Katha to give this relationship a chance but Katha replies that Aarav is her first priority so she cannot do this.

On the other hand, Kailash tries to grill Aarav for information regarding Katha and Viaan's relationship since Aarav has come to the Garewal house to play with Yohan and Aarav innocently replies that he is the man of Katha's life.

Kavita however scolds Kailash for questioning Aarav like this who in return just announces that he is doing what is best for Katha.

The next day, Viaan teaches Aarav how to use a bicycle like a father after he gifts Aarav a brand new one whereas Neerja again tries to make Katha understand that she should not deny the love, she is getting offered like this.

Meanwhile, Tejji explains to Farha that she does not want Viaan to be associated with Katha at all.
