Today's Katha Ankahee 18th May 2023 episode starts with Viaan asking Amrita about how she knows a baby boy will be born.

Amrita replies that it is just a baby so it can wear anything, showing Viaan some cute dresses and shirts that she will make the baby wear.

However, she suddenly stops talking as she feels immense pain in her belly which causes her to flinch.

Viaan gets scared to see Amrita in pain and he starts panicking as he does not understand what to do in this situation.

He tries to call the doctor to know what to do after he lies Amrita down on the couch.

The doctor texts Viaan saying that she will call him after getting done with surgery which makes Viaan scared even more.

Finally, he calls Katha for help while holding Amrita’s hand.

Meanwhile, Katha is having dinner with Neerja and gets surprised to see Viaan calling her this late.

Viaan explains to Katha that his friend Keith’s wife, Amrita, is having immense pain in her stomach so he does not know what to do right now.

Hearing Viaan’s panicked voice, Katha pinches her nose slightly and closes her eyes to judge the gravity of the situation.

After a long pause, Katha informs Viaan that during pregnancy the lungs close up which results in not being able to breathe properly.

She advises Viaan to rub the lady’s feet and make sure she is breathing perfectly.

Viaan cuts the call after hearing the advice and follows Katha’s instructions.

He urges Amrita to take some deep breaths while he holds her hands and finally, after a long pause, Amrita smilingly tells Viaan that his Katha is a magician.

Viaan collapses on the sofa after hearing this, expressing that he was never scared like this in his entire life.

Amrita starts apologizing to her baby for not giving it enough attention.

She even makes Viaan feel the kick of the baby by pressing his hand over her stomach which fills Viaan with astonishment.

He flinches backward with a look of awe on his face, stating that Katha was right as a father does get connected with his baby before it even comes into the world.

Viaan admits that he is doubtful that he will ever be able to be a good father since he has never experienced this.

Amrita makes him understand that only love matters which is why she knows Viaan will be a great father.

On the other hand, Katha tells Neerja that she does not understand how Viaan keeps getting into weird troubles.

The next morning, Viaan gets a call from Aarav AKA Batman who informs him about his stress-related exams.

Aarav explains that his teacher has told him that only tests can evaluate one's ability which angers Viaan.

Viaan promises Aarav that he will come to his school to talk to the principal as no teacher should bully a student.

However, Aarav calms Viaan down, stating that his mother is going to meet the principal in a parent-teacher meeting.

Meanwhile, Katha overhears everything as she has entered the cabin at the same time.

Further, she also advises Viaan to not interfere in a kid's school life as it will not be good for the school authority.

On the other hand, Reet tells everyone in the Garewal house that Katha must be busy with other reasons such as Viaan Raghuvanshi which is why she is unable to focus on Aarav.

Kailash gets extremely angry upon hearing this and walks away yelling that if Katha does not want to move on from Aditya, then this topic ends there only.
