Today's Katha Ankahee 20th July 2023 episode starts with Katha coming into the washroom and staring at herself in the mirror with frustration on her face.

Katha washes her face to clear up her expression and stares at the mirror to practice how she would tell Viaan about her feelings face-to-face.

Suddenly, Viaan appears in front of Katha and asks her what the matter is while Katha gets nervous to see Viaan in front of her and thinks about the correct words to express herself.

Katha tells Viaan that she has something very important to talk to him about and is about to let him know about a very special feeling that she has been feeling these days.

Viaan's face starts lighting up as Katha says that some feelings need not be said out loud and can be understood through eyes only.

Katha says that her eyes are showing the same feelings he has for her in his heart to which Viaan says that he has been waiting for this moment patiently.

With courage in her heart, Katha says that special things need special moments and she wants to convey something very important to him when Katha gets pulled out of her imagination by an employee.

Katha realizes that she was imagining the whole scenario and stares at Viaan upstairs who is busy talking to someone on the phone while their eyes lock with each other.

Feeling a sudden rush of love in their hearts, Viaan finishes his call quickly and comes downstairs while Katha gets some white flowers from her cabin and stands in front of Viaan with the flowers at her back.

However, Tejji comes there that very moment and tells Viaan that she is not being able to let go of the anxiety of losing him to another person no matter what she is trying and says sorry to him for reacting like that earlier.

Viaan calms down Tejji and asks her to wait there while he brings his files so that they can go home together later.

As Viaan goes upstairs, Tejji comes to Katha and thanks her for exposing her true colours which is why Tejji is ensuring that Viaan does not become distant from her.

Tejji asks Katha if she is happy by herself now that she has created distance between mother-son while Katha is shocked to hear such things.

Katha comes home at once and gets dazed with deep thoughts about her feelings and the family of both ends react to the matter in different ways.

Aarav spots Katha in a daze and asks her to share with him what the problem is but Katha gets angry at him and asks him to let her sit peacefully for some time.

Seeing Aarav upset, Katha tells him that she is sorry to shout at him but there are some things that cannot be shared with children.

Aarav tells Neerja that Katha needs an adult friend like Uncle Vikram to whom she can talk and be happy instead of sad like this.

Meanwhile, Viaan and Tejji play a word game together and Viaan asks Tejji to let go of the matter but Tejji says that she will be back to normal once Viaan sends away Vanya after giving her some of the stocks so that she and Seema can find their happiness.

Viaan does not agree with Tejji which makes her walk away in anger as her son would not do such a thing for her sake.

Later, Katha feels restless and asks Aditya where she is standing after listening to her heart and she has to fight her loved one's family again.

Viaan calls Katha but Katha does not receive the call and meditates to clear her head.
