Today's Katha Ankahee 20th October 2023 episode starts with Aarav telling Raghav that he is on field duty and that if he drops the ring again he will be there to catch it. 

Meanwhile, Raghav asks Katha if it hadn’t been for children would she have said yes just for him?

Katha tells Raghav that he is a good man and deserves someone better than her who is one in a billion.

Getting a veiled answer, Raghav quotes another couplet from his favourite poet, “Jo Tum Tum Ho, Phir Koi Aur Ho Hi Nahi Sakta, Jab Chahat Tum Se Hai, Phir Koi Aur Kya Phir Usse Behtar Aur Kya” (No one can compare to the one we love, no matter how wonderful they are)

Katha recalls how one month earlier, she saw Aarav laugh after so many days. 

She also recalls her conversation with Raghav a week before when he was leaving for four days and she expresses her anxiety about Aarav being difficult in his absence. 

Raghav has told her that they will have to find a way to always be together. 

Raghav’s voice brings her back while he tells her that he wants to confess something before putting the ring on. 

He tells her that when she accepted his proposal, he was not able to show his true happiness but now he wants to. 

Just then, a few musicians surround them and Raghav goes on his knees to put the ring on while Katha suffers a flashback from the past when Viaan proposed marriage to her. 

With shaking hands, Katha receives the ring while Raghav watches her thoughtfully. 

Meanwhile, Ehsan comes to Viaan and asks him if he will not ask anything from Katha. 

However, Viaan tells him that he wants to ask fate why did it make them suffer when they were in the right.

He tells him that he will meet Katha again and their story cannot end so easily and be "Katha Ankahee" (Katha unfinished).

In the meantime, Raghav’s mother welcomes Katha into her family saying that she wanted her to be her daughter-in-law ever since she met her. 

Later, Viaan comes to Katha’s building but finds the lights off as no one answers the doorbell either.

He knocks and knocks calling Katha and Aarav’s names and in a defeated voice asks her where has she gone as he is waiting for her and that she should come back to him. 

Meanwhile, Katha and the others sitting for dinner when Katha feels suffocated by the weight of the ring and finally snatches it out. 

Seeing curiosity on Raghav’s face, Katha tells him that it is a bit tight and pinching while Raghav tells her that they will get it fixed. 

Later, Katha and others arrive at the house where Vickram welcomes Katha by performing Aarti for Katha and Raghav.

Vikram complains to them for not calling him at the time of engagement as if he is so forgettable.

However, Katha tells him that they all remembered him every step of the way but did not call so he does not feel bad. 

She also tells them that the real party will start there with him as its part. 

Meanwhile, Viaan finds out from the guard that Katha and Aarav have moved out of the house two or three days ago only. 

Afterward, Viaan comes to meet Yuvraj and begs him to let him talk to Katha or at least Kailash.
