Today's Katha Ankahee 21st March 2023 episode starts with all the employees telling Viaan that they are with him in this.

Viaan says a big thank you to everyone feeling emotional while one of the employees announces that Ehsan has postponed all the meetings for the next week till Viaan returns.

With a faint smile on his face, Viaan climbs up the stairs as Katha enters the Earthcon office while talking to Kavita on call who urges her to come to Garewal's house.

Katha’s eyes land on Meera who is busy working and she recalls how she saw Meera with Yuvraj.

She starts looking around at the staff members, recalling Shamita’s allegations against Viaan & enters her cabin without saying anything to anyone.

Just as Katha sits in her chair to start her work, Meera arrives there to announce that she needs Katha's interview about the Lonavla heritage project.

Katha informs Meera that she also needs to talk to her and just as Katha opens her mouth, Jeetu Bhai approaches her saying that the board members want to meet Katha.

Katha walks with Jeetu Bhai feeling uncertain about this sudden meeting so as she enters the board, she refuses to take a seat feeling nervous.

One of the board members reveals that an internal team is made to investigate the matter and Katha will be the presiding officer of the team.

Another board member clarifies that this team will talk to Viaan and Shamita separately along with it the team has the freedom to question any team member they want.

She also states that Shamita is waiting to lodge an official complaint against Viaan, therefore, it is recommended that katha start the investigation from today itself.

Katha looks visibly surprised to learn that she is chosen for this matter and she asks everyone why they choose her.

The board members announce that a senior board member has suggested Katha's name and a flashback shows Tejji selecting Katha for the role.

Katha is preferred for this role due to her seniority and the fact that she will not bias in her judgment since she knows how a relationship should be between a boss and an employee in an architectural firm.

However, feeling indecisive, Katha abruptly stands up, declaring that she needs time to think about this situation, and she walks out of the meeting room.

Viaan tries to reach Katha but she turns around to walk away without even glancing at him.

Meanwhile, Ehsan questions Tejji why she has given Katha's name, and Tejji replies that she can feel that Katha is the only one who can get Viaan out of this mess.

Ehsan then comes out of the cabin to see Katha leaving so he begs Katha to take the position since Katha is unbiased in her opinion and Katha states that she needs time to think.

At the same time, Viaan announces that he is stepping down from his C.E.O position temporarily and Ehsan will take over, shocking everyone and Katha feels even more confused about what to do now.

Afterward, Katha enters the lift in which Viaan is already standing and neither of them utters any word so the atmosphere between them becomes uncomfortable.

Viaan makes up his mind to talk to Katha but as he opens his mouth, the lift slides open and Katha walks out.

Reaching Katha, Viaan tells her that he hopes Katha takes the position since she is perfect for the role and that he is ready to face the consequence of the mistake he has done, not the fake one.

Later, Katha meets Neerja who reveals to her that Viaan has resolved her problems with her sons which gives Katha a perspective so when she reaches the office, she tells Ehsan that she has accepted the role.

Ehsna feels immensely happy after hearing this while Katha goes to inform the board members about her decision.
