Today's Katha Ankahee 22nd September 2023 episode starts with Kailash giving Viaan a sword so that Viaan can protect Katha with it.

Kailash explains that he does not know for how long the sword has been kept in the Garewal family but he knows for sure that he is giving this sword to Viaan to protect Katha.

Hearing this, Viaan refuses to take the sword, instead, he advises Kailash to give this sword to Katha since she always protects him emotionally.

Kailash then kneels down in front of Viaan while offering the sword but Viaan urges Kailash to stand up quickly.

At the same time, the servant brings a gun and Kailash announces that he is going to fire it to mark the beginning of the wedding.

Everyone seems shocked to see the gun while Kailash clarifies that he has a license so everyone needs to calm down.

He also informs everyone that this gun only fires fake bullets which relieves everyone and Yuvraj comes forward to promise Viaan that he will always protect Viaan for the rest of his life.

Looking at Viaan emotionally, Yuvraj exclaims that his sister Katha is a very soft person so Viaan should make sure she does not shed any tears.

Saying this, Yuvraj falls at Viaan’s feet and he orders Viaan to climb onto his back which Viaan denies.

However, when everyone tells Viaan that climbing onto Yuvraj’s back is a ritual, he accepts it.

As soon as Viaan sits on Yuvraj’s back, Yuvraj stands up and starts dancing while Tejji watches them from a distance with extreme discomfort.

After a while, Yuvraj puts Viaan down and Kailash along with Yuvraj bids farewell to everyone, inviting Viaan to arrive at Garewal's house to marry Katha in the evening.

Meanwhile, Viaan takes Aarav to his new room for a surprise when Aarav starts crying suddenly, feeling overwhelmed with happiness.

Seeing tears in Aarav's eyes, Viaan pulls him into a hug to calm him while Aarav confesses that he does not know why he is crying so much all of a sudden.

At the same time, Vanya arrives into the room to call Viaan for the haldi ritual so Viaan rushes out of the room with Aarav following him.

On the other hand, Tejji questions Maya impatienly about how long they are going to wait as they already have proof but Maya makes her understand that they need to find the perfect time to break the news.

In the meantime, Viaan arrives in the hall for the haldi and one by one everyone applies haldi on his face while the atmosphere is buzzing with excitement.

Afterwards, Aarav is about to walk out of the Raghuvanshi house when Maya grabs his hand, saying that Katha and Viaan are hiding some things from him.

This revelation upsets Aarav while Maya manipulates him into thinking that he needs to make Katha promise him that she will never hide anything from him.

Later, at Garewal house, Kavita hands over Katha the will of Kailash that confirms that from now Aarav is the owner of half of the property which upests Reet and her brother.

Reet's brother is angry at Katha for this while the whole family is busy celebrating Katha's haldi except Reet who is frustrated enough to concentrate.
