Today's Katha Ankahee 24th August 2023 episode starts with Viaan telling Katha that the pastry was not just a pastry, it was hiding a ring.

Katha questions Viaan about what kind of ring he is talking about while Viaan keeps frantically saying that Katha has swallowed the ring.

He states in a panicked state that he needs to take Katha to the hospital immediately because she has eaten a metal now.

Katha tries to calm down Viaan by saying that she has not eaten anything because if she had then she would have felt metal-like.

At the same time, the waiter shows up there and apologizes to Viaan because has put the ring in the wine glass instead of pastry.

Hearing this, Katha starts laughing while Viaan falls on the floor after feeling dizzy so now it is Katha’s time to get scared for Viaan.

She finally calls Viaan by his name, not with Mr. Raghuvanshi which makes Viaan open his eyes happily.

He tells Katha that the people who are planning their wedding don’t have any idea that their hearts are already connected.

He goes down on one knee, saying that even though their hearts are already connected, he still wants to propose to her because he wants to show everyone how much Katha means to him.

Viaan explains emotionally that everyone calls him "shayar" without knowing that Katha is the mojo for him as she inspires him always.

This speech makes Katha very emotional and she tells Viaan that she will never take off this ring because it depicts their love.

She announces that their love story is like “Katha” (story) which never ends when Viaan finally puts the ring on her finger.

He starts kissing the finger while Katha’s eyes tear up, seeing Viaan’s excited face.

After the proposal, Katha calls a doctor who checks Viaan and informs Katha that Viaan’s blood pressure is very low.

Hearing this, Katha gets concerned for Viaan, saying that she has grabbed Viaan’s hand for the rest of their lives so Viaan should try to stay healthy.

Viaan tries to lighten Katha’s mood by saying that he will stay fit until his last breath for Katha’s sake.

Meanwhile, in Garewal’s house, Tejji expresses her concern to Farah because Viaan and Katha have still not come back.

However, before Tejji can start getting stressed about this, Kailash pulls her on the dance floor for a dance.

Kailash tells Tejji excitedly that they are relatives now so they should enjoy themselves and Tejji starts dancing awkwardly.

However, soon Kailash feels a sharp ache in his back so he stops dancing while everyone looks at him funnily.

The next day, Aarav wakes up Katha happily because today is the roka day when Katha gets a text from Viaan who urges her to get ready on time.

As Viaan puts down the phone, Ehsan walks into the room looking very serious and he tells Viaan that from now on, he is completely free from all responsibility.

Ehsan further comments that he is going to be stress-free because Katha will take good care of Viaan to which Viaan replies that Ehsan should stop acting like a father who is doing "Kanyadan".

On the other hand, Neerja and Kavita get very emotional when Katha gets ready and Neerja sends Katha's picture to Viaan which makes Viaan's heart skip a beat.

Later, Viaan and his family show up at Garewal's house and Viaan's jaw drops as Katha walks into the living room with Aarav by her side.
